Avella Archer
Okay everyone. I know with the disbanding of Willow Ridge you've been wondering what's next. I'm sorry that this has taken me so long to get to. I have the time now to give this the attention that it needs. As you probably guessed Avella isn't one to give up so easily. That is what this thread is about. She is calling everyone to make her intentions known. This thread is backdated to about a week after Willow Ridge was disbanded. I don't know the exact date but I do believe it was in December.

@Hagar @Daegal @Iseldir @Nineve

upon the discovery that   her brother and Cam were gone from the ridge Avella was overcome with disappoint ment. As much as she wanted to send someone out to look for them she could not afford to have any other members leave the pack. She was thankfult hat Hagar and Rashina had remained but that still didnt' quell the disappointment that her brother must have finally decided that he couldn't live in the pack any longer and as promied Avella would just have to accept that. The most hurtful part of it was that Camden had gone without a word and after his claims of how much hed cared for her. She felt foolish and that she should have listened to Scully when she'd told him about Camden.

There were a few days that Avella had been scarce around the ridge trying to wrap her head around what was happening and what to do next, She didnt' know if the pack could survive the winter with their low numbers. Avella had worked so hard to bring Willow Ridge back and now it was almost a shell of its former self. She knew that she had a decision to make. The matriarch had taken a hard hit but as with most things she wasn't ready to give up. She wanted to succed where others in the Archer line had before her. She wanted her children to have a home where they felt safe. She didn't want to take Rashina back into the wilds when she could be safe there in the willows with her.

Once she'd made her desicion about where to go from there she knew that she had to speak with what was left of her pack. She truly hoped that they would agree with her and want to stay.  It was time that she found out how the others were feeling about their current situation. Going to the communal den Avella rose her muxxle into the air and called for those that were left. Asking foir them to join her.

Hagar
Hagar did his best to be of service to Avella and what remained of the pack without crossing certain lines. He kept an eye on @Rashina and continued to mark their territory and provide food as best as he'd been able with his injury. Now it was mostly healed, and he was able to play with the children and continue to teach them the skills they'd need to survive. But, emotionally? Hagar was available to listen, but he couldn't offer much more to the Archer matriarch. Not without it bringing up memories he'd rather keep stored away.

He felt guilty about it, wanted to be of comfort to Avella especially after Camden left his void but he also knew better. It just wasn't his place, and this was part of accepting that.

He'd been sleeping when she returned, resting before his next hunt. Her call awoke him, and he stretched and yawned before hoisting himself up onto his dark paws and making is way to the mouth of the cavern. He chuffed, doing his part for this little roll-call. His ears were all hers.

Nineve Archer
There pack was a small one. One which consisted of family and family only. Eve had only ever been vaguely aware of Camden's presence, having never spoken to the man face to face before. She did not know of her mother's relationship with him, nor that he was the actual father of one of her brothers. To her, Hagar was father of all of them. There was mother and her cousin and uncle whom had left them for whatever reason.

With three adults and three pups, they really only had one another. Eve had not explored beyond this. Had not met other packs, other children... Once, she had spotted a few strangers right in their home and hadn't a clue what to do! She loved her home and yet couldn't help but feel bored, restless.

Hearing her mother's call roused an interest in her. Maybe something new was finally going to happen! "Mom, dad." She greeted to the both of them with a happy smile as she came to sit next to Hagar.

Iseldir Archer
With the exception of a few very familiar faces, it had grown very quiet among the willows. Like his sister, Iseldir was used to such circumstances, but he had picked up on the air of uncertainty as the season wore on. Even his mother seemed to have been venturing further to hunt, of late. But in what was perhaps optimism or innocence, he never doubted they'd get by. After all, they had each other. And he, Nin and Deag were getting more and more capable of helping out as they grew.

He arrived quietly and took a seat not far from Nineve, exchanging a look with her and waving his tail before looking to Hagar beside her and Avella, who had called for them. Echoing his sister's greeting with a nod to each of them, Izzy approached each family member with a gentle nuzzle before seating himself at his sister's side and bringing his focus back to Avella.

He was curious why she'd called them to her like this, not unheard of but unusual enough there must be some reason of importance. His ears perked to listen, though he still expected to hear Deagal's arriving steps any moment before his mother would get down to business.

Rashina Archer
It was a little family, immediate. Avella was here, her three pups and father of them. Scully and another male she only knew by scent had long left now. Perhaps because of the drought, maybe because they feared what winter would hold for such a small group. There was strength in numbers. Willow Ridge did not have that. With a blind woman, three children and one adult still mending from injury, this left one good hunter among them- Avella. Even if Hagar could hunt a bit, two wolves taking down any large prey was not an easy feat. Rodent game and fish had been there usual meals. Rashina ate even less and grew weaker.

Taking a deep breath, the makes her way slowly but surely to the gathering. She sniffs, woofing out to those gathered as she scents them. Rashina missed the comforts of a large group, of the priestesses at Torbine, of her mother's strength. @Clouse name still called to her. Where was her brother now? Hopefully doing better than her, she prayed.
