It had begun to take. She could feel the subtle changes in her body, and after three litters she knew that she would be expecting her forth. It was hitting harder than it normally did, and even now she found herself exhausted as she chose to take a light snooze in the pack’s herbal storage rather than continue sorting through them to put them away. Her mouth would slowly open, a silent roar of a yawn slipping out as her eyes drooped and she began to snore lightly… such a sight to behold anyone who might stumble upon her.
Her scent had begun to change, marking the finality of what she and Nash had produced. Her paws lightly batting at the air randomly in her sleep… restful, but fitful at the same time… confusing, but something she was not aware of… that was, until she jolted awake, not able to remember why she jolted awake, only that she did… and so she laid her head back down, not asleep but most certainly drowsy.
