Sophrosnia found it interesting that even as the silence lingered, the woman seemed to almost relax in her silence, despite the curious looks she still seemed to give her. Only her words would break the silence, and she felt herself relax at the knowledge that the girl was alone. She motioned to her belly now, a way to show she was not alone. If Lilla took up close, she might be able to smell Vili on her still from their last closer interaction. He was always lingering, lurking… but she still couldn’t make right and wrong of the situation. She had no idea what the man was lingering for apart from some of her crazier conspiracy theories.

She offered a gentle smile to her, watching as she padded up to her, a caution in her eyes despite her relaxed nature. She blamed all of the hormones that coursed through her body for the little caution she did show at the situation. She would place a paw over the print, watching the way it seemed to dominate and tower over Sophrosnia’s own print. At first, Soph did not understand what she was asking. She stared at the motion for some time, and then back to Lilla before her eyes widened and it was clear that it clicked in her mind what the woman was asking her.

And from there, she showed a guarded level of caution. She had just met the woman… but then, she had just met Vili and now she was having children with him so she figured perhaps it was not fair to use that as criteria. If he chose to linger close enough, perhaps she could ask Vili about that herself. He was, after all, much more talkative than she was.

She would instead rise, sniffing her paw for a moment before looking up at her, offering a gentle nod to show her agreeance with the question, answering it. Yes.

Sophrosnia is currently travelling with Lillia and is closely tailed by Vili

The woman motioned to her belly, and it suddenly clicked in Lillia’s mind who was likely traveling with the stranger. A more precise sniff did tell her that the scent of a male lingered on the tawny wolf’s fur. That was fine, still, she supposed - another wolf wouldn’t be a bad thing. Survival in numbers and all.

It wasn’t the most comfortable of ideas, but Lillia would cope with it. If she didn’t want to end up drifting alone from place to place for the rest of her life, of course.

That specific idea was becoming less and less appealing over time.

It took a moment for the other to tell what Lillia was saying - she wasn’t used to having to communicate based solely on body language, after all - and another moment to consider the idea. Lillia waited, studying the little lady as she deliberated.

A nod, and Lillia offered her a small smile in return.

Though neither of them knew one another’s name, that day Sophrosnia had received a brand new guardian in the form of Lillia.
