Weldering Darksidy
He knew that he had done wrong, but having said that he did not think it was as bad as the Tainn boys were making out. Indru had vanished, abandoned his pack so what right did he have to take the moral ground over Weldering. Then there was Ruiko, what made him any better to lead Swift River then Ioni? As Borlla suddenly snapped out with an assault of words and emotions he was taken back in surprise. Shuffling literally backward to make the gap between them a little bigger as the young lady let out a throaty and confused growl. He however did not growl back, in fact he seemed disappointed not angry.

"Nothing is wrong with me." He exclaimed. While the meeting was not mentioned he knew exactly why she was saying these things. She deserved an explanation. "I did what I did with your best intentions in mind. Indru had disappeared and Ioni did not feel as though he would look after you and your litter mates as Indru had done. Ruiko... he's so cold, uncaring. Looking out for himself." He huffed, twilight blue eyes fixing onto the ground. "Ioni was my friend..." Using past tense purely because he had not seen her since - he did not even know if she was alive or safe. "She would have ended up fighting Ruiko with or without my help, I went along to make sure that she would be safe..." He sighed.

Borlla Tainn-Argyris
Borlla scowled throughout the little speech, but said nothing. In fact, she was still rather confused, and had regretted saying anything, for it only twisted around with what she'd already thought she knew. She trusted her brothers, and loved them (even though it didn't seem like it half the time), but Weldering was her friend too, and at least until the ordeal, she thought she could trust him. "So you thought it would be a fun idea to help my sister destroy my family?" Her brows furrowed as the words spilled out. The events that had taken place, in her mind, had blown up into something nearly earth-shaking. What if it wasn't that bad...? Or what if it was? Ioni had never been nice to her like Ruiko and Indru had. In face, Borlla could hardly remember her older sister ever speaking to her.

"But I'm your friend too, right?" She asked, the scowl dropped from her muzzle. "You could have asked me! What if I hated Ioni? What if she was bad, and made me miserable?" She stared at him, wide-eyed, and still relatively confused as to what she should do about all of this. "speech."

Weldering Darksidy
He was regretting more then just this conversation. There had been plenty of times he had done stupid things in his life and the challenge at the Swift River meeting had been one of those many occasions, one he would rather forget. Not that Indru and Ruiko would ever let him forget it. Now it seemed Borlla was not going to let it go either.

'So you thought it would be a fun idea to help my sister destroy my family?' "No." He replied quickly back without any delay. "I thought I was doing your family a favour." It really was the truth, he was friends with Borlla, Ioni and Junai so why would he have intentionally wanted to go out and ruin that? 'But I'm your friend too, right?' "Of course you are Borlla." Though Weldering was not liking where her point was going, he knew this conversation was going to get worse before it got better. He could have asked Borlla or Junai but he hadn't done. he had trusted every single word that fell from Ioni's mouth at the time. "I'm sorry... I trusted Ioni, I liked her ... a lot."He hesitantly admitted turning his muzzle to look away slightly embarrassed. "I would have never challenged Indru, I knew he cared for you and was close. But we thought Indru had died and Ioni said that Ruiko was cold and detached, that he didn't care about you guys. From what I had seen of Ruiko I agreed with her." The moment Indru had come back the situation at the meeting had changed and the challenge was more or less instantly called off. Ioni had backed down and Weldering had fled. Even Indru's rivals did not challenge his abilities to lead. As for being a bad leader and miserable he sighed. His blue eyes finding Borlla's own gaze again. "I would have been a part of the pack, a second probably. I wouldn't have let anything happen to you or Junai... or the others. My problems have only ever been with Indru and Ruiko."

Borlla Tainn-Argyris
She listened in silence, deciding just to let him say what he wanted to say, even if she hated it, and wanted him to shut up. Especially the part about liking Ioni. She wanted to just stick out her tongue in disgust at that one, but kept it in. Things became a bit clearer then in that moment. He'd already said something about Ruiko, but hearing it repeated made her think about it. Cold and detached. Borlla snuffled. She didn't think it was like that. He'd never been mean to her, especially after she'd come back and instantly started a fight with Kinis. But it was true that her other big brother wasn't like Indru. Borlla probably would have picked Indru over Ruiko, but that didn't mean that she didn't like him. Definitely not. Ioni was insane.

"How can you trust, or even...like, someone that wants to..." Borlla just shook her head. Was it really worth it? Weldering seemed to think that what he did would have been right, if they had succeeded. Ioni on the other hand, had disappeared, and Borlla still hadn't gotten to question her. But Borlla had already decided that she hated Ioni, and would probably never ask her. But she'd heard enough from the gray and black wolf. "Bleh. It doesn't matter." It was kind of hard for her to say that, but she did. Despite the fact that she had started all of this, she just wanted it to end now.

She shuffled her front paws for a moment, and finally sat down, blinking silently for a moment. After that moment, she looked up, looking fairly unaffected by the moments that had passed. "So did you go very far after the water went away?" Was that an acceptable change in subject? She was mostly rather curious to hear about the world outside of Relic Lore, although she had already seen a little bit of it. And, if what he had said was true, then Weldering wouldn't have gotten anywhere near Indru's little party. So, what he saw was different, hopefully. "speech."
