Fenru Donata
<blockquote>Fenru's eyes blinked curiously up at his uncle, watching as the dark-pelted giant eventually turned his attention to him with a simple 'hello.' The pup's tail wagged and his muzzle lifted up in a small smile. Uncle Triell didn't seem all <i>that bad</i> after all. He liked that. A bark sounded from his throat, small and light on the eardrums.

His small pink tongue lolled out of his mouth as he looked to his mother, wondering if she was watching. A string of babbled half-words followed as he returned his gaze to Triell. Still smiling, he sat down, but he didn't remain there by his uncle's large paws for long. He scampered back to his brother after some time, his attention locking to onto the older Tainn's ear. Attempting to pounce on Rihael, he reared up onto his hind paws before landing back down onto all fours with his rump wiggling in the air. Out here, he discovered, was a ton of space to play, where he wouldn't have to worry about upsetting his sister or becoming easily cornered.

He stuck out his tongue again, rising up as he placed a paw on Hael's shoulder and tried to latch his small jowls around his sibling's pointy brown ear.</blockquote>

Kenai Tainn
As quickly as he had shown up at Swift River, Kenai was graciously met by the few wolves who remained in the pack. He liked it that way, small in numbers. Although they could be considered a rather large group now. His ears fell forward excitedly as his pace slowed he could smell the thick and heavy scent of a den. It swept into his nostrils causing his heart to swell up. His tail submissively waved and he kept his usual natural lowered confirmation. He kept his distance wondering if Corinna would accept him so soon, and so close to the den and her puppies. But they where his too! In a sense...they belong to his brother which made him an uncle and in his mind that gave him just as much right as the next. But there was the fact that he had been gone for a bit. This little uncertainty kept him pacing at a distance, until someone gave him permission - or showed any signs to come forth.

Oh how hard this was, how badly he wanted to run over and tumble in the middle of the puppies. Roll on his back so they could swarm him with nips, licks and bites. He whined.

Rihael Tainn
Feel free to PP him here if you want!

<blockquote>Being so small and having grown up in the cozy dark quarters of the den, Rihael was used to being nosed, nudged, and otherwise tugged on– so he endured his mother's gentle nudge to the back with a lazy grin, tongue hanging out of one side of his mouth while his tail whipped back and forth in what was almost a blur. Fenru went up to Uncle Triell now, and Hael watched to make sure that his brother also approved, brushing sides with Kisla so closely that he lost his balance and nearly stumbled over. But his mother's strong leg was there to catch his fall, and he glanced up at her as Fenru returned to their side. Hael eagerly accepted his brother's unspoken request to play; he stood, tail wagging excitedly, as Fenru went for his ear.

He felt his brother's jaws take his ear, giggling at the soft pain that followed, before rising to his own hind legs in an attempt to slide Fenru's paw off of his shoulder. Twisting to face the younger Tainn male, he pawed at his cheek – at such a young age, and being so freshly out of the den, Rihael was comforted by the touch of his siblings – but was now becoming semi-distracted by Uncle Triell and his mother speaking. Uncle Triell's voice sounded like nothing he'd ever heard before! And then...

...There was <i>another</i> wolf, over there a little ways. He was a stranger too, and his smell was very different and new. Another friend! How could this get better?

Hael promptly began a swift, bouncy trot over to the newcomer, completely unaware that his mother or the others might disapprove. </blockquote>

Triell Tainn
when i look at the stars i feel like myself

Fenru's small bark played at his ears, and he playfully snorted at the puppy before he watched him dart away. Cori's words were reassuring, and a significant comfort to the black lad. The word family particularly bringing a distinct, grin upon his face. This was Indru's little family, but he was a part of it. He too would protect those little ones. Slowly the grin stretched away seeing her look around, ask about the rest of the Swift River wolves, the hint of more where Indru might be. The lad's eyes dipped to the little ones, he had asked that question himself, and had not a decent answer. He wanted to give Cori a sufficient one, and his tail swept over the ground once disturbing the grass behind him. His lips drawn tight, he looked back to the new mother, his sister. "I bet Indru and Marsh are getting something for all of you to eat. And it wouldn't surprise me if Ozera is getting Borlla to come," he replied with a light smile. He was hoping his words sounded as true as he was wanting them to be.

He spotted little Hael's attention going to something else, and spotted Kenai's large form in the waiting. Triell would gladly welcome him, but it was not his decision. Still he gave a soft bark of greeting to the elder Tainn, than titled his muzzle in Cori's direction hoping she might approve of the new company as well. Casually he than lets his eyes wander around, looking for the dapple coat of Ozera, the pale one of Borlla, the red tone of Marsh, and the brown of Indru. They'll come. He tells himself.

Corinna Donata

Gone Tomorrow

Triell's remark that her mate was bringing her chow made her feel somewhat better, but Cori knew that she would not be perfectly at ease until the handsome tawny brute had returned. As for the rest of the pack, she was not to sure. She had smelled Marsh and Ozera lingering in the background at the time of the birth, but Borlla had been nowhere to be found. She had yet to see the three subordinate wolves, and with some dismay, she looked at her three young ones. Fenru and Rihael had both made advances towards their ebony coated uncle and had seemed pleased with their new discovery. They were now wrestling with one another. Kisla remained firmly hidden behind Cori's leg, and with a smile, she nudged her daughter's behind, trying to urge her forward.

Opening her mouth to respond to Triell's optimistic outlook on their pack mates, her lips instead curled into a snarl as a new scent reached her. Instantly she was on her feet, powerful jaws scooping up her oldest as he made a run for the stranger. Catching him with ease, she lifted her head, hoisting him off his feet by the nape of his neck. The stranger was Kenai - so not technically a stranger. He was family, but he was newly accepted family. Triell's bark caused Cori to turn her gaze to him, ready to reprimand him for offering acceptance to enter on what she fully believed was her domain. But she stopped, realizing that it was a welcome rather than a "come join us" noise. Narrowing her eyes, she looked back at Kenai. She took in his submitting posture, and her ears heard the whine. With some reluctance, the alpha female lowered her head, dropping her pup to the ground, green eyes never leaving her Tainn brother-in-law. Taking a single step backward, she barked at the subordinate. Allowing him to come closer. But her posture refused to relax, and as she stalked backward towards Fenru, Kisla, and Triell, she remained focused, ready to run forward and safe her first born son if his uncle should prove to be malicious. "This is Kenai. He's also your uncle, he's Triell's brother." The introduction wasn't as enthusiastic as it had been for Triell, but that was to be expected - she knew the younger Tainn so much better, and given that Kenai had been a member of the pack for only a short time, all of which she had spent inside the den, she barely knew him. Dropping her eyes for a moment to look at her three young ones, the menace left her face and a smile took its place. She would do everything to protect them, even if it meant shielding them from their own blood.

Fenru Donata
<blockquote>The youngest Tainn took in a small mouthful of his brother's ear before letting it go and rolling into a ball at Rihael's feet. Hael pawed at his cheek and Fen playfully opened his mouth as if to nip at him. He raised a paw to return the swipe but he had noticed that Rihael's attention had been drawn away. The tawny pup bounded away, leaving Fenru in the grass. His brow wrinkled and he rolled onto his stomach to gather his feet underneath him. Before he could follow after his sibling, Corinna darted forward and plucked her first-born from the ground. In seeing this, Fen cautiously crouched down; then when the opportunity presented itself as 'Mum' stepped back, he scampered to one of her forelegs again.

He pressed the side of his temple to her limb as she introduced the other 'Uncle,' and quietly gave a smile. This one looked very different from the first' Uncle;' he had dark golden eyes. The pup looked up to Cori before glancing to his sister and brother, rather unsure of what to make of the situation.</blockquote>

Rihael Tainn
<blockquote>Hael should have known that he would be swiftly lifted; instead it took him by surprise, and a desperate yelp escaped his little chest as he felt his mother's jaws close around him. His tawny face displayed a blatant look of disdain, but he fell limp instinctively, eyes still locked in on the nearby stranger. When he was placed back on the ground, Rihael resisted the urge to approach the new wolf, instead joining Fenru at his mother's side, uttering a half-hearted <b>"Daaaa"</b> that trailed off and was drenched in disappointment.

He brushed up against mom's leg before trotting over to Uncle Triell and plunking down to a seat, accidentally sitting on the dark adult's left forepaw— and giggling at the realization, too stubborn and playful to move.</blockquote>
