Celandine Argyris
For @Quentin

Luck had never been on her side. It remained finicky; Illusive in a way that used to make Celandine forget to believe in herself. Your world can only be upended so many times before you break. It wasn't something that the future queen was proud of, nor was it something she planned on reliving. Her time away from Silent Moon had been spent learning to thrive on chaos, rather than let it's disgusting fingers tear her apart, and she would remember that fact well. Thus, luck could drown in the lake for all she cared. The yearling would find her pack without it's help.

Descending the mountain was always an easy task for the girl, as most of her life had been spent upon it's picturesque landscape. An able body, and sure footing certainly did not hurt, either. Amber eyes rarely strayed from the horizon, nor her nose from the wind. Unfortunately, the breeze was not in her favor, slinking it's way down the heights from behind. Still, she hoped for a familiar perfume. Regardless, she would find what she was looking for, one way or another. An entire pack did not migrate without at least someone noticing.

Celandine continued on for days, down the mountain, through trees, and woods she knew little about. Of course she had spent some time in the forests below her old kingdom, but most of her time was spent staring at it from above. Impatient as ever, the princess' nerves began to wear thin. Of course, it didn't help that she had no idea whether they had even come down this way. For all she knew, they could have descended the other side. Gods, why would her uncle move them so far?
