It had been unusual for the man to be away from the borders when he had been a guardian, but now it was even rarer still. Now he held the extra burden of not only protecting his family like he had before, but check in with them as well. It was his duty to make sure his pack mates were not only safe but content. So today, the king found himself in front of the pack den, taking an unusual break from his duties. Mentally, he went over all his pack mates. Nina was content, at peace, though maybe worried over Mirren's extending departure. There was nothing Miccah could do on that front. He was confident that Mirren would return. His wife was next, and his form relaxed slightly as he thought of her soothing presence. Bane was quiet, but that was not unusual. He would be content as long as he was by Inali's and Nina's sides. Though there had been a moment where he thought there was a dark cloud over the usual chipper woman, it seemed it had cleared. She seemed more at peace now, and never failed to give everyone a smile. But was it all just a ruse? Who knew. Miccah could only read one woman's feelings. He continued to sit and think as light snow fell around him, melting onto his dark fur. Belladonna was well, but quiet within the pack, along with the anxious Duckweed. Ash...well, Nina's brother was just that..Ash. Would it do him good to speak to the man? Though Miccah was not a talkative man, maybe it would do him good to have someone else he could trust. There was one woman he had missed in his mental countdown. He believed her name was Sijinali. He had seen the brown woman around, doing her part for the pack, but he had never spoken to her. Maybe he would track her down today, and see how she was fairing. For now though, he would enjoy his solitude. "speech"
