Inactive II. Subordinate
Volkan Aquila
<blockquote>Wanna wrap this up soons? :]

<i>"You are welcome to come with us."</i>

Those words let her breathe. The moment before them seemed like an eternity. <b>"Th— Thank you,"</b> she responded after a moment, certain that she was lucky Ruiko was doing her such a favor. She knew they didn't have to be best friends, but if he could trust her and tolerate her just enough to let her travel with him and his younger brother, then she would be safe for now. Stepping forward, she licked the underside of his chin once before pulling away with a small smile, a formative sign that she was more or less in his debt now, and that her allegiance was to him for as long as he would have it. <b>"You won't regret it."</b>

Maybe someday Ruiko would know why Volkan needed to stay with him, beyond the simplicity of her needing a pack. Perhaps it would be because she trusted him enough to let him know, or perhaps it would be because Rhysis emerged and actively began hunting her... either way, it didn't matter for now, and the young female was content now to let her secrets lie.</blockquote>

Ruiko Tainn
Volkan stepped forward, her submission and allegiance to him clear with the respectful lick to his chin. With a murmuring growl of acceptance, Ruiko bent his muzzle down to briefly clamp her jaws gently in his; a sign of his acceptance before pressing his muzzle and cheek to the side of her face, allowing his scent to rub off on her. Shifting now, Ruiko prowled around the she-wolf, continuing the bonding ritual as any lead male would before taking a pace back, his tail giving a light thump of a wag. “Very well then,” he responded, his eyes blinking as he cast his gaze to the path that would likely lead them to Kinis. “Let’s see if we can find Kinis.”

Leading the way, the hefty male was hopeful to find his younger brother in the spot they had met last, but as time passed and the two wolves arrived in a small enclosure near the creek, the young Tainn was nowhere to be seen. It mattered little for now; introductions could wait, and Ruiko was content to know that now there were three of them traveling together.
