Latif Itri
Latif had traveled to the mountain. It had been his goal after all but he hadn't decided how far he would climb. It had started out easy enough but then it had turned into something a lot more difficult. Each paw had to be carefully placed and tested to make sure none of the rocks beneath would tumble down under the weight. He was panting and his limbs were trembling but if Latif was honest, which he was, he enjoyed it. There had been no mountains where he had grown up just and endless forest. Finding a spot that he could sit and catch his breath the pale man stopped to take a look at the view.

Gold eyes widened in wonder as he stared across the vast amount of trees. With the sun slowly setting it splashed colors onto the clouds and the trees below and between them he could see water sparkling. It was a view he hadn't seen before and he was in awe. His head twisted this way and that as he continued to eagerly drink in the sight. Most sunsets he had seen between trees or on top of hills but this couldn't even compare to them, or at least not in his mind. A large toothy grin had plastered itself on his face without him realizing it and Latif was content to sit there as he watched the colors slowly change.

It wasn't until the sun had nearly set that he realized that he would have to either try and go back down with the little light was left or stay were he was. He knew full well that he didn't have the necessary skill needed to climb the mountain in the dark. Taking a chance he stood and with a determined look he began to make his way back down, hoping that he didn't end up at the bottom in a less than pleasant way.
