Zeta Argyris
All welcome. Keeping vague about whether or not she's in a pack as the join thread is still in progress.

Zeta was growing to find that she quite missed the adventure that had been hunting down Erebos with her brother. However, she would never trade it for what she had now. They weren't happy together, not yet, but she felt strongly that they would be. They just had to give each other chance. Mother would grow to love father again, now that she could see for herself that he wasn't going to leave them again. After all, if he was going to take off, wouldn't he have done it by now? Instead, he was fighting with all he had to keep them together and safe through the remainder of the snows. Zeta was proud and hopeful no matter what the weather threw at them.

Zane would see it too, he had to. No matter how bitter the boy was, Erebos was trying to be their father, and that meant the world. The girl thought maybe, her brother and the elder Argyris simply needed some time alone together to bond. That was why she was out here, on her one and milling about for a light snack. Mother was busy with the work of an adult, something she was now, she had to remind herself. Maeve was off on her own as she normally preferred to be, and Zeta was not so unaware as to shadow the young girl twenty-four / seven. That left Zane and Erebos time to be with just themselves, should she disappear; so she had.

Yet while that loose plan was wraveling itself together, what she she supposed to do? Her stomach told her hunt, but her rabbit-like mind yearned for company, excitement, something.

hope you don't mind arion <3

The smudge felt guilty for always being out and about and not staying close to the pack borders, especially since his mother had returned. As much as he had missed her he was not really interested in the reason why she had left. The important thing was that she had come back and that she was not going to do it again. Arion did not know if he had enough mental stability to handle his mother disappearing a second time, especially since his father had not yet returned.

Arion often pretended his father was dead because, for all he knew, Inkheart had indeed kicked the bucket. Sometimes it was easier to pretend that his father had died instead of thinking that he had been abandoned. Clearly Inkheart had to have been delusional to leave him and his mother behind; no wolf in the right mind would abandon someone as adorable as Arion.

No friggin’ way.

So, having a dead dad was much easier.

When he wanted to stay close to the timbers but did not want to remain confined within pack borders, little R would venture out to the falls. He was troubled by the absence of the wonder twins; he hoped they were just on a lengthy mission together and had not pulled an Inkheart. It was peculiar for them to just disappear without letting the blue-eyed smudge know of their plans, but he was not worried. Together they were unstoppable and were getting up to all sorts of mischief somewhere in Relic Lore.

It was the scent of another who had captured his attention, pulling him away from thoughts of the sisters. The girl reeked of stranger but the curiosity that bubbled within him was overwhelming. He let out a sharp woof as a greeting, hoping to capture the girl’s attention. She did not smell of any of the pack’s nearby — not even Sahalie’s. How odd, he thought to himself as he waited for a response, a small frown creasing his little maw.

Zeta Argyris
Hey @Arion! Sorry about taking so long on this, BTP is actually the pack that Zeta is in the process of joining, so I was putting it off in hopes that the join thread would wrap up first, but it hasn't yet & I really need to get her through this check. SO, keeping this very vague, and please don't feel you need to reply before we know if she's in the pack for sure or not. <3

As if something up there were reading her mind and decided to move a few pieces in play just for her, someone called out to her just as her thoughts moved past wishes for company. The sound halted her steps and her head lifted, ears twitching to pinpoint the caller while her offbeat eyes searched for the body. When all senses honed in on the black-pelted boy, she returned the sound joyously with a rapid few wags of her gray and white tail.

She took a few steps forward, fully prepared to launch into conversation, when an even better idea occurred to the girl. With a flash of her wide, toothy smile, she turned on her heel with a flurry of kicked up snow and disappeared. She didn't go far; the purpose was far from getting away from her company. Mischievously she miched through the growth, darting closer to him on petite and silent white paws. If he stayed still, she would attempt to get as close as she could before he noticed, possibly even reaching out to tag him. If he found her out, she would try and dodge away. Regardless of how it all went down, a burst of giggles would ensue.
