Titan Thorben
@Sif

Fields of red as far as the eye could see shifted in the breeze like waves in an ocean of blood. Butterflies were nearly blown away at times from the strength of the wind, but always found their way back to the fire flower's embrace after the winds ceased. Small white puffy clouds raced across a sky of blue indicating that the wind was much faster high up in the heavens. Vultures had no trouble going long distances on the high winds as they floated over the red rise. It is warm and comfortable in the sun, but cool in the shade as nature moves along her course this nice spring day.

Suddenly a tom turkey explodes into heavy faltering flight with a black creature dashing over the ground just below it. Turkeys might be able to fly for short distances to reach cover, but this one unfortunately was heading out towards the rest of the meadow instead of the forest. The dark creature, a large male wolf, could put forward a burst of speed and strength to take his prey, but that speed would not last long. He would have to try to jump and take his prey from the air to catch it. Titan was huffing already and while he had some of his mothers stamina it wouldn't hold out as he raced after his target. Then a blast of wind buffeted the bird slowing him down a bit and pushing him just a tad bit closer to the lumbering Thorben. Titan saw his chance and leaped aiming his jaws for any piece of the turkey while he did so.

A snap of teeth on the male turkeys long tail feathers gave Titan enough grip to drag the creature down with him. As he fell back to earth so did the tom. He had a loose grip though and many of the birds tail feathers were pulling out as he bit down harder trying to keep the turkey form escaping. After hitting the earth Titan quickly used his front paws to swat at and slap down onto the birds tail or wings. He wasn't sure if the bird had broken anything in the fall, but as long as he could keep it down there was a good chance he'd have a meal today.

The bird whipped his muzzle and head with it wings but this did not deter the hungry wolf. His teeth found a stronger purchase around the birds back and neck. Then he lifted the struggling thing off the ground and shook his head roughly back and forth over and over. Feathers flew and in a little show of strength Titan killed the tom by breaking its delicate bones. The male then re-positioned his grip around the turkeys throat to kill it if the creature was still hanging on by a thread, but this was unneeded. Sitting now with the turkey in his teeth, Titan then panted and cooled down after the chase and take down. His blue orbs admire the flowers and look out for danger while Titan rests a moment.
