OOC: @Jynx you can close us out?

The introduction was going swimmingly. All parties seemed to be relaxing bit by bit, and no one looked nervous or displeased. This was how it was supposed to go, and Raela breathed a deep internal sigh of relief. Her tail even began to sway as Jynx responded to the compliments. Autumn-hued ears cupped gently forward to catch the girl's answer, and found it pleasing as well. A hunter was always valued, and it was one of those essential roles the pack needed so dearly. An amused and friendly chuff left her nostrils at the word “yet.” This one was so youthful, and her enthusiasm was more than welcome.

A single ear turned toward the black king, followed by her golden eyes. He seemed to speak much the same thing her own mind was thinking. Jynx was doing wonderfully so far. She nodded swiftly, readjusting her attention back to the Crest's newest recruit. Her eyes searched the girl's face for a second; warm and approving as the smile now drawn across her maw. Her tail drifted vertically; wagging from its risen position as she waited for the young one to join them. They had a pack to meet, and she had a hard time imagining that anyone would have the slightest problem with Jynx.

Reach for the stars

Within her chest, hope and pride began to blossom. Washed away were the feelings of anxiousness and uncertainty. The formal introduction with Gent, with Raela at her side, had gone without a hitch. The massive dark male was impressed, pleased with the new find Raela had brought back home. Positivism radiated in the air around them, only further boosting Jynx's hopefulness.

With Gent's official welcome given, the russet female smiled humbly, dipping her head. "I hope so too. I won't let you down." She was at a bit of a loss to think over her words, overwhelmed by this turn of events. There was suddenly so much to look forward to, so much to take in. Eager to meet the rest of the pack, she fell into line alongside her new leaders, a fresh bounce in her step. She had never lived at such an elevation before, but it was by no means nearly as severe as it could be on the larger mountain range. Golden eyes fixed on the stony crest laying before them, she saw nothing but a bright future awaiting. While the past could never be changed, she now could close that chapter with peace of mind.
