It figured that the one of them that was training to heal would be the wolf that fell ill. The girl was already a bit high maintenance (though that was partially Gent's own fault for being so cynical), and now she was confined to the medical den with her germs. Luckily, it seemed to be only a mild bug, but still the alpha made sure to take care of her in order to ensure that the sickness did not become worse. He visited her several times each day, even staying to converse if she so wished it in hopes of helping her stave off the boredom. She was brought small portions of food so as not to upset her stomach, and allowed dosages from their medical stores. Each time, Gent made sure to stay oustide of the den; he would not bring back whatever it was she had caught to his children.
Today, she would be having hare for lunch; the carcass held firmly in place betwixt his jaws. The rain had abated by the sky was still overcast, dark gray and dismal to look at. The clouds affected the entirety of the atmosphere, darkening the forest and trapping the moisture in the air. It clung to his fur, threatening to sneak past and touch his skin. Sylva didn't have the luxury of such choices right now, however, and he would not neglect the diligent youth.
Once arrived, he nudged the rabbit down the crevice and into the den, staying outside of it despite how much he longed to be somewhere underground and dry. His pale eyes peered into the darkness, trying to discern her shape amongst the assorted piles of florae.
"Sylva?" he called out to her. "You up?"
