Indru Tainn

Her tongue across his muzzle felt like it had the first time she had done it, and Indru felt his heart sing just the same way. It had been the first sure sign of affection since his return and the hope it blossomed in his chest was invaluable. A satisfied sigh escaped him as he felt the heat of her side pressed against his at last, and he pushed his nose gently against her neck, breathing the scent of her in with deep breaths. It was a smell he knew would always have an effect on him; there was no scent like it besides that of his pups.

Quietly she agreed with him and Indru's maw curled in return, his eyes inevitably drifting towards the den he was not yet granted access too. Briefly he wondered whether she would allow him entrance in the winter months so he would shiver himself through his sleep, but he would never leave his self imposed position at the dens entrance protecting them if the answer was still no. Soon though he began to feel her weight a little heavier on his side, a sure sign of her tiredness, and it was not long until he felt her warmth gone from him. She turned back to him before she left, a smile on her face, wishing him a goodnight and Indru watched as she slowly entered the den where he could hear the soft noises of his children. Goodnight Corinna, he replied to her before, once again, taking a vigil pose outside the entrance.
