For @Ravenna

Her encounter with the magpie had been fortuitous indeed, but she wasn't about to go rushing into the jaws of wolves that simply shared a name with those she had wished to join with elsewhere. Perhaps there was a reason they had come so far to establish themselves? No, she would need to learn more before she went tying herself down. That wasn't to say she wasn't trying to draw one out, a hare left here, some mistletoe there - she was making no secret of her presence it was only a matter of time until someone grew curious or pissed off with her audacity. Perhaps they would not be able to decipher her message.

It was clear even far from the borders that they possessed no young, an oddity in itself with Archers well known for their sizeable litters. There were those that spent as much time outside the borders as they did within them, and she had thought once or twice to follow the scent that led out into the Marsh, then thought better of it. Some mysteries were best left as such although she doubted her resolve would last for long.

She paused in her meandering, ears turning back as she heard a movement behind her. Turning to face the sound her tail dropped, a friendly chuff sent out between the umbrella-like canopy. I mean no harm, the twitching wave of her tail conveying as such where her words would not.

Ravenna Archer-Lyall
Each and every day she began looking more and more like her mother. The paleness of her eyes were feral, staring hard upon those she cast her attention towards as she stalked toward the outskirts of her home. Her movements were strong, her footing heavy with each sway of those thick hips and she kept herself lifted in a manner that suggest she was someone of great importance or that she had at least been told as such. The woman was everything like her mother's structure and even now as time ticked on, she began to build a harder, serious exterior as her as well. After loosing her sister as a child, her father being very ill, and the only other sister she had up and leaving the pack and family behind, Ravenna had become a bit hardened, if only to those she did not know a trust, clinging on deeply to those she still held in her life even as they were dwindling to nothing.

Ravenna had come here for a specific reason only... A few days ago she had come upon a hare. Freshly killed, left just along the border and not even a single bite from it. Of course, Ravenna had taken it upon herself to take the kill to her father, fresh and untouched for him to feast upon. She spent the rest of her hours with @Angier that night, deeply embracing what time she may have with him. The next morning she had a hunch, bringing herself to the edges of her home again only to find mistletoe here, a token which she had been gifted by an unknown wolf and so she then gifted to her mother in return. Now, was the same. The day still had not yet reached the afternoon and Ravenna came with a determination and much interest, pausing at only the scent of a stranger. Her muscles tensed, wiry hairs along her spine spiking. Was this her barer of gifts? There is a small, odd noise which finally slips from her parted mug as she comes towards the woman, her tail lifting up slightly in a weary curiosity.

The woman before her looks much similar to herself - a collection of grays, whites, silver and more so though in the other woman's case, black. They both hard a dark, thick line of color on their snouts and on their ears and both held that same pale gaze. Of course, this woman had much more color on her head, back and tail, while Ravenna held less, though the woman was much more pale in her lighter places then Ravenna was. The Archer girl continued to study here for a moment, and then finally... "Who are you?"

@Ravenna sorry for the hold up <3

It hadn't taken long for her tokens to be noticed, the sound behind her bringing a smile to her face before she turned, head dipping low submissively, ears turning back. Her tail waved between her hocks, she was indeed, happy to see this wolf that looked so much like herself, and hadn't that been one of the draws of Torbine? That she could vanish among them and her family and that wretched boy would never find her? Well, he'd never find her here either.

"Thora, princess," she answered, lowering her head in a bow, needing no introduction from the girl that stood before her, the blood alone wrote her title on her skin. She would receive no disrespect from this traveller, nor any who dared to cross their path in her company. It wasn't as though the loner could raise her head above the silver yearling, but she wanted to make it obvious that she wouldn't even try.

"I met your magpie, some nights past. She spoke highly of those that live here. I did not expect to find Torbine blood so far from the great sea." her words were slightly clipped, just the hint of an accent creeping through but respectful none the less. She wondered just what the younger wolf might take from her words, patiently waiting to see if the girl would ask another question of her, or add information of her own.

Ravenna Archer-Lyall
As the stranger lowers her head and tail submissively, Ravenna knows she is still welcome by the waving of her tail behind her. This was not just another random stranger she had come upon, but someone who had wanted to be found by the wolves of Willow Ridge. It was the gift bringer, she assumed. Thora, the woman introduces herself with, dipping her head respectfully. Ravenna knew nothing of where this woman came from, though it was obvious she had been taught respect and patience before another when meeting them upon their border, especially one of significance as the Archer was. Though this Thora already knowing she was a princess of the land perked Ravenna's interest. Ether she was a great study of character or she had picked up some information on the pack before coming here. "Ravenna." She speaks, allowing the woman to know her actual name instead of just being left to call her 'Princess'.

Then the gray-scale woman speaks of their patchy wolf and how she spoke fondly of the wolves within. Torbine blood? She knew of the Archers then? Of course, there were many that knew the Archer name - within the Wildwood and beyond, but of Torbine itself? She even knew enough about it to know of the seas which surrounded the land. It ether meant that she had been close enough to an Archer who had lived there to speak of it, or that she had been there herself. "You've been to Torbine?" She questions, her curiosity obvious by the shine in her eyes and the perking of her ears. "My mother was born there..." She pauses in her information, not yet leaking out that both her uncle and aunt which lived with them now had more recently come from the lands then her parent. After all, though it did not seem as though this woman had any ill intent towards the Archers, one could not be too sure.
