Odin Archer
Nosy kid is nosy, feel free to skip him in post order, he's just sticky-beaking.

When he had awoken, neither his mother nor father were in the den. A quick wander had shown him mother sleeping soundly, the scent of his father still fresh by her side. A small grin was painted on his face, it hadn't been missed by the boy that she was sleeping less since Wraith departed to the north and Celandine had left them for whatever her reasons were, so he was happy to see her getting some rest and wouldn't dare to try and wake her.

Other than the welfare of his parents, he didn't dwell too much on the problems of adults, he was far too busy most days just keeping tabs on his sister. But when the sound of a scuffle reached his ears he couldn't help but be interested. It wasn't uncommon to see the grown-ups wrestling, but he could have sworn that voice was... Lorcan? His interest piqued, the lad drew closer, Craw's snarls filling the air as teeth clicked in retaliation. Odin found himself a seat, confident smile set in place as he watched the exchange unfurl before him. As things currently stood, the boy thought that he was probably a better match for the healer than his scary looking dad, but he wouldn't question the others authority.

Already the boy stood taller, though he still had a lot of filling out to do, and his desire to join in was barely masked by the shuffling of his feet beneath his seated ass. Maybe once they were done, he could talk one of the adults into sparring with him too.

Craw
Lorcan had more gumption than one might have given him credit for. Perhaps it was just because he had been explicitly instructed to behave like this, and the medic was a wolf who loved to please, but please he did: when Craw's jaws snapped down on air and forced Lorcan to flinch back, the man didn't give up. Even better was the sound, that soft growl in Lorcan's throat which hinted that there was more beast lurking beneath his polite and respectable appearance.

Where Craw might have twitched about to face his opponent, he let Lorcan manoeuvre himself without interruption. Ears flicking back and glancing back to see what was happening, he felt weight on his rear and teeth at the base of his spine, but more importantly he noticed their approaching company - and with a sly toothy grin shot at @Odin, Craw jerked his snout at the unsuspecting Lorcan in clear invitation for the boy to join in. To keep the medic distracted from the ploy, Craw made to counter Lorcan's attack by lurching forward, wanting to force his attachment to be dragged along or fall off. If their sizes had been reversed then perhaps Craw would have buckled under Lorcan's bulk, but he did not give Lorcan enough time to collapse his hindlegs - and was tempted to give the man a taste of his own medicine if the opportunity arose.

For now he was still playing on the defensive, but if Odin took the hint, Craw couldn't guarantee that would continue.

@Odin @Craw
Pale paws gripped tightly either side of his larger opponent as he reared up into his hind legs, black claws digging slightly into Craw’s thighs as he tried to grab hold of the male from behind. Reaching forwards as far as he could, Lorcan tried his best to grab at the thicker fur that ran along his superior’s spine, searching for that spot just between his shoulders where Craw would be unable to turn around and reach. Jaws snapped through the air as he tried to plant his teeth into his opponent’s fur but, much to his frustration, he only managed to grab onto mouthfuls of fur and failed to get a firm grasp.

When Craw lunged forwards, Lorcan’s rear legs raced behind as he tried desperately to keep his grip on the male’s rear, but his paws were slipping and he still could not get a good hold on the male, so he let go. Sliding back down, all four paws were re-connected with the ground before he quickly shuffled backwards a few steps to put some space between them. Then in the next instant Lorcan lunged forwards again, jaw wide open as he aimed to clamps his teeth around his superior’s tail.

His father's grin was met with a toothy smile of his own as his rump rose off the ground, the clear invitation was impossible to ignore, but Odin knew better than to rush straight in just because the invitation had been given and so he watched. @Craw's sudden move was enough to shake the medic loose, but Lorcan was quick to recover. It was a surprise, but there wasn't a lot of time for that sort of thinking when there was a fight to be had. He saw his opening when Lorcan retreated, rear feet dancing as he waited for Lorcan to try again.

When the medic moved, so did the pup. His attempt on Craw's tail was countered by Odin coming along side, his jaws parted to try and grab the medic by the thick fur and skin over his neck or shoulder. He would apply the same tactics @Lorcan had tried previously, trying to use his weight to bring the older wolf down. There was little point to aiming for tails or back legs when the opponent could easily spin around and bite you on your own ass (a lesson hard learned from his scuffles with @Kara), although it was doubtful the boy had the weight to drag to medic down.

Craw
While he didn't see Odin's grin, Craw caught the boy's shifting posture from the corner of his eye enough to know that the invitation had been received. Odin would hardly pass up the chance to get into the thick of it - especially with an adult, since the two youngest Archers spent most of their wrestling time with one another. But they were both almost fully grown, with respect to their size at least, and it was time for them to train beyond the playful, immature scrapping of children. While Craw sensed no threat from Hearthwood, and had had no recent reason to think ill of White Fir Notch, there was still the issue of @Askan's motley crew on his doorstep.

If the others in that group were as unpleasant but cowardly as Askan, then Craw was not too anxious about the safety of @Kara and Odin. That wasn't where he was coming from. If tensions between the two packs continued to grow, then he wanted their youngest members to be able to bring the terror just as much as the rest of them, if not more.

The thought of seeing Askan on his back with a jeering Kara above him was so sweet.

@Lorcan's grip failed, the medic sliding back down to the ground as Craw had lurched forward, feeling the ghostly prickles on his back where he had felt the smaller man try to grasp with his teeth. Not a bad plan by any means, but Lorcan needed to learn how to better execute it. Not wanting to make it too easy on his subordinate, but also expecting Odin's contribution at any time, Craw slowed enough that Lorcan's jaws were able to wrap around his tail, the thick fur (and the man's less-than-vice grip) removing any possibility of pain. Rather than try to tug himself free, Craw chose to simply curl around, pivoted by his captive tail, and snap again at the man's face to encourage him to let go - and saw Odin dart forward at the same time, an excited growl in his scarred throat at poor Lorcan's fate.

shizzle about to get serious >:D
Lorcan’s jaws clamped down around the mid-section of Craw’s tail and instantly the agouti male began to thrash his head, treating his superior’s fluffy appendage as if it were some dead prey animal. Growls began to erupt from the male’s mouth, as he tugged and pulled and thrashed nonsensically, as if the larger male would retreat out of pure irritation.

It seemed though, that Craw had been habituated to such puppyish behaviour and seemed to care very little about whatever damage Lorcan may have been doing to his tail. Instead he curved his body around and snapped his jaws dangerously close to the subordinate’s face. Lorcan clamped down harder and went to step to the side to evade Craw’s snapping jaws, but was suddenly barged into from his side from out of nowhere as Odin grabbed his neck.

His paws stumbled and slipped on the icy surface of the monadnock, causing the agouti male to plummet rather spectacularly onto his side with a heavy thud as Odin’s weight forced him down faster. Somewhat disorientated, a threatening snarl erupted from his chest as he scrambled to his feet, only to Odin standing over him. Going quiet for a second, a questioning glance was made towards Craw before his eyes darted back to the younger dark male, a growl vibrating louder in his throat as he stiffened his tail dominantly above his spine.

He hadn't anticipated Lorcan slipping and as the older wolf went down his bite loosened as his own mouth opened in surprise. His front end came down, paws splayed across the prone wolf before he pushed back up to stand, thoroughly pleased with his success he moved back to allow the brown wolf to stand. As Lorcan growled and arched his tail, Odin mimicked the movement, the slightest hint of a wave betraying his harmless intentions, but he did add a growl for good measure, paws thumping the ground in invitation. Come and get me.

A small part of the boy smirked, thinking it was a very silly idea for the medic to take his attention off @Craw, but then, perhaps he hadn't seen that the father was the one to invite the son in the first place? Never mind. Now that he had the attention he wanted to hold onto it and he jumped forward, coming at Lorcan head on. He would try to wrap his paws around the smaller mans neck to give himself another shot at grabbing hold of that ruff. Of course this would leave his own throat exposed, but he was only a child, and tended not to think such serious things through.

His jaws clamped down on air, @Lorcan doubled down on his grip and shifted to the side, and then was promptly assaulted by Odin, and all of the medic's plans went kaput. It was clear that the boy's inclusion had been successfully kept secret until the last moment, with Lorcan too distracted to notice their subterfuge. Craw chuckled openly as Lorcan slipped and found himself on his back with Odin on top, the spider taking his time in turning around to properly look at the current situation. He had been involved mostly via his tail up until now, after all.

Seeing Lorcan's questioning and confused glance, Craw just smiled and nodded, jerking his snout in Odin's direction to signal to the man that he had a new opponent now. And a very eager one; Odin lurched forward without ceremony or warning, arms wide and reaching, and Craw took a step back, letting it happen. It was probably a fairer match-up, but more importantly, Craw had been wanting to see if Lorcan was in possession of a backbone - and though it had taken a few moments, they had found his growl. The medic had certainly shown his resilience and determination, even in their brief scuffle, and that was enough for Craw for now.

@Odin

Unsure if Odin’s attack was serious or not, Lorcan glanced across to Craw for permission to engage with the younger male. At his superior’s smile and nod, Lorcan immediately stiffened his posture, leaning muscles tensing beneath his agouti fur as his redirected his attention towards Odin. The boy had now re-positioned himself and was now inviting him into a friendly tussle. Feeling a more willing, now that he was sufficiently fired up with adrenaline, Lorcan nodding with acceptance before dipping head down defensively.

Right on cue Odin lept forwards, large puppy-paws outstretched as he moved head on. Whilst Odin was taller, he was still young, which made Lorcan estimate them to be almost evenly matched. Feeling a little more confident fighting with the less experienced boy, Lorcan tried a different tactic to the one he had been previously using against Craw. Refusing to move, the agouti male held his paws in place and leant forwards, bracing for the impact of Odin’s frame. The collision came a second later and he felt Odin’s paws scramble above his shoulders. Golden eyes glanced up to see the flash of fangs plummeting down towards him, but with his head still held low, Lorcan lunged forwards for Odin’s unguarded throat.

With a threatening growl, the agouti male aimed to grip his jaws firmly around the boys neck and press his sharp fangs against the delicate skin underneath Odin’s chin, aiming to apply just enough pressure for the boy to ascertain that he was in trouble and should submit.

He couldn't believe his luck when Lorcan held his ground, and in his mind the fight was already won, but pride always came before a fall and as he leant forward the pressure of teeth against his throat startled the boy. Eyes widened in momentary panic, he knew there was no way to get out of this one. Instinctively his dark tail tucked submissively, his long body leaning to the left as a sorry whine left his lips. If the medic let go he would find the boy belly up in the snow, if not, well Odin would probably drag him along for the ride.

He licked the air and wriggled until eyes so wide they were showing the whites could keep an eye on Lorcan. His tail twitched in a wag against his belly, waiting for a sign that his surrender had been accepted. If it came readily he would roll back over and find his feet to deliver a submissive lick to the victor's chin. He was disappointed that his father had been around to see such a resounding defeat, but he had learned a valuable lesson from it and one he wouldn't soon forget.
