Deacon had taken his time scouting around but he certainly wasn't familiar enough yet. Besides, it had been just shy of a day? He had more than enough time to get adjusted. But he was interested in meeting up with Veho again. A little way from the pack den Deacon lifted his dark head and gave out a deep quick call for Veho. A simple "I'd like to meet if you're not busy" type of call. It was no urgent matter but it'd be nice.
Taking a seat near one of the tall cedarwoods the large male let his tail beat against the tree's base. A gentle thud but nothing obnoxiously loud. It was pretty here. While nothing would compare to his kingdom's willows the cedar woods were clearly doing their best to welcome him. Even in the misty cold, he felt warm under his thickening coat. Almost everything seemed at peace.
Waiting for Veho to appear, which Deacon figured wouldn't take long, his amber eyes swept around. Admiring the lands he would grow to truly call home. How would the winter treat them? Would Grizzly Hollow prove to be as gracious and grand as heard in his bedtime stories? Regardless it was a sort of boon to be here.
