There was a slight breeze that moved the long thread-like branches of the willow trees softy. They made a calming rustle. Noa drank out of the small river, licking her lips to get off the excess water. The sky was clear again, which made her a little disappointed. Rain was nice once and a while.

The female walked towards the closest willow tree, sniffing the area and then curling up and closing her eyes. This was a nice nap spot. With a big yawn, she started falling into a light slumber. Noa hadn't been this happy for a while. A really long while. Coming here was her best decision yet.

There was something about the willow forest that he had always avoided. Perhaps it was the way the open spaces made him feel so small, or the fact that he'd never had a reason for being there. Nevertheless, the coal colored male found himself wandering through the branches of the trees that hung lazily. There was no denying the beauty of the trees - even as they'd begun to lose their leaves with winter's approach - but there was something about them that haunted the man.

He meandered his way through without managing to avert his attention to much of anything, though thoughts of Jaysyek and the lingering scent in the cedar forest were fresh on his mind. So much had changed since he'd first entered the Wildwood, and even though he still thought about the cove at the lake and the den at the foot of the hill there, he was proud of the family that had taken him in, the pack that now defined who he was and who he'd be in the future.

His silver eyes watered sleepily as they looked over the quiet scenery. Lost in his train of random thoughts, the male did not initially notice the scent of a stranger who slumbered beneath one of the towering willows...
