Ravenna Archer-Lyall
Any and all may join this thread, however Ravenna at one point may wish to speak more privately to @Morganna and @Greer which is why she is calling out to them specifically. Back-dated Feb. 12th. Ravenna has traveled from The Heart into Snowmarch. Scouting thread 1/3.

It had taken Ravenna three more days to travel here from the foggy, burnt forestry where she had met the Charred Ash wolves. She had to admit, her paws were tried from the travel for it had been far more walking at one time then she had ever before even on her searches for herbs. It was a challenge of her will, to be certain and probably had taken more time due to this if not only due to her brief moments in studying bits of foliage she had never seen before. She could have only imagined how long it would have taken her burning the spring when everything was blooming. Scouting missions were not meant for herbalists if you wished your message to be delivered quickly.

Hesitantly she came closer and closer to her sister's boarders. In this vast, open landscape, she saw as far as her eyes could let her but this also meant the others could see her, too. She could not have been uncertain if this monadock was even the place however, as she had been following her sister's scent around this part of the land for some time now and it had been the most powerful here. She could smell many wolves here at these boarders which made her nervous, far more then at Willow Ridge. Probably due to the fact that nearly half of Willow Ridge's members up and left with Morganna. Ravenna could hardly blame them. For although their loyalty should have been to their pack their loyalty also belonged to their leader which just so happened to be the one who left. No. If anything, she would blame her siblings, Morganna and Greer themselves, who had left their aging parents behind to place the care for them upon their young siblings who were no more then children themselves at the time.

Ravenna could feel a since of pain, betrayal, and anger welling in her, leaving her anxious. She took a few minutes to try and right herself so that when she lifted her maw to call out for her sister, it would not sounded shaken with her uncertain feelings. She called out for those of Archer blood - Morganna, Greer, and her sister's children perhaps even. Ravenna had felt certain with a pack of sure size others may arrive, though that did not mean she had to give her information up to them until she got what she had come for; her sibling's attention.

Morganna Archer-Lyall

These days more often than not found the leader out on the tundra. While they had had some luck hunting bison and musk ox, the heavy beasts were much harder prey that the deer and caribou to which she was accustomed and so they were not eating as often as they might have if they had stayed in the Willows. Not that it did her any harm to skip a meal here and there, they were all doing much better than the loners that skirted far and wide around them.

She thought it might be a loner calling until her ears cupped forward, catching the familiar voice of her sister. Her heart welled with a mixture of joy and anxiety. What would bring their pale sibling this far north? Had they found Angier? Was mother alright? What about Sven and his little sister? Had Nicolo driven her from her home as well? A short howl was offered in response, an additional summons for @Greer in case their dark brother was napping somewhere after a late night romp.

She sped across the distance that stretched between them, tail waving from a distance in enthusiastic greeting as she failed to slow for even a step. If Ravenna didn't side step the sisters would collide and Morganna would waste no time checking every inch of her little sister to make sure she was in good health after such a long journey. Her enthusiastic whines would be all the greeting she could manage until her anxious heart began to settle, or until someone came to drag her off their visitor.

Greer Archer-Lyall
@Morganna @Ravenna

Like his sister, Greer also spent most of his time on the tundra.

A month ago the older Archer had asked him, and @Capable, to look for a piece of land in close proximity to the monadnock to place the newcomers hailing from Craw’s former home. So far the shadow had not been successful. The tundra was, perhaps, the largest territory in the Lore which meant there was a lot of land to search through. He did not want anything close to their southern neighbours, as they were already too close for comfort. East was a possibility, as there was still quite some distance between Whitestone and the forest the river wolves called home.

Sleep had not yet pulled the shadow under when the first call sounded, causing his ears to twitch. He blinked slowly, confused by familiar voice. What had brought his youngest sister to the north? A frown creased his dark maw as he quickly unfolded his legs from beneath him, another call sounding shortly after the first. This time it belonged to his older sister. Without hesitation, the boy launched himself forward, quickening skirting down the edge of the monadnock as he followed behind Morganna’s dark shape. Although he was excited to see the silver Archer it was muted by the burning curiosity in his chest. Whitestone was a far journey from the willows… something important must have driven his sister to the tundra. But what?

His tail began to wag slowly behind him as he approached his sisters, his nose pressing briefly against Ravenna’s cheek. As he drew back a crooked smile was perched effortlessly across his lips as his mercury gaze focused on the silver wolf, a big, bold question mark stamped across his raven features. The scout in him wanted answers while the Archer in him rejoiced at the mini family reunion.

Scouting 2/3

Her anxiety only seemed to rise. The wait and the wondering is what killed her that most, though she did not need to wait long. Only minutes later of Ravenna standing there, shifting her weight between her limbs, did she see a dark figure come rushing into her direction. In the distance, though the lands were open and nothing blocked her view, Ravenna could not yet at first make out who it was. She might have ran had her determination not have gotten the best of her and it was a good thing it had, because it only took seconds for Ravenna to make out the wolf coming her way - Morganna. Certain Morganna had no reason or need to harm her, Ravenna's stood her ground, her tail waving as she took in her sister's display. Now being only a few months away from two, Ravenna had nearly reached her full height and weight. She was bigger then Morganna and could hold her own against her. This did not stop the sudden "OOF!" from her jaws as the other woman nearly knocked the wind out of her in their collision. The silvery colored sister dancing up on her hind legs a moment to dance, mash, and hug up on her sister in the same manner which Morganna did her. If even for the briefest seconds, the younger sister was able to place her reasoning for coming here to the back of her mind in order to enjoy this reunion.

Prancing around her sister, yipping, barking and play growling, she could see her elder brother had arrived. His touch had her tail waving faster, licking at his cheek in return, her ears falling, tail coming in low as she then stepped back away from them. Greer's questioning gaze made her all well aware once more of why she was here. Ravenna's pale gaze looked around her as though expecting someone else. Perhaps Morganna's members had every intention of standing back to offer the family so privacy in this meeting. "I've traveled all this way in order to deliver some grave news... I felt I should be the one too." Taking a step back further from her brother and sister, she found herself no longer being able to look them in the eyes. Her body fell lower, limbs stiffening, a taste of bile moving up in her throat. She did not know how to say it without it saying horrible. It was horrible and there was no way to sugar coat it, no way to soften the blow. "Mom and Dad..." Once more, she could feel the sting in her eyes, the threatening of tears. "They have passed away. They're gone..."
