Hecate Liar
Anyone is welcome to join:)
(used an old random event for kicks)

Hecate meandered around White Fir Notch, not ready to seek Gent yet. She felt like she needed to get in the groove of things here again. That, and she was sure Gent would offer her a place in his ranks; being a valuable player in the cunning and being at physical peak. So for now, she would wander. Maybe meet some new folks and start to make her base again. All of this was scanning through her head as she absent-mindedly walked right over what seemed like someone's home. She was only aware of the fact she was up in somebody's grill when a series of short angry growls came from her right flank. She turned her head to find a very pissed wolverine. An exasperated "eugh" left Hecate's maw, only angering the wolverine more. She quickly retreated in the brush, not wanting to fuck around with one of those devils. She watched him check over the place she was apparently ruined, sniffing and chuffing. She turned and walked deeper into the woods, refraining from rubbing her annual itch on any of the trees to attract attention.

Ambrosia Hellebore
Ambrosia had decided to widen his knowledge of the areas surrounding White Fir Notch when the angry sounds of a wolverine caught his ears. With his intact ear perked up, he hoped it wasn't coming his way and it was just having one of its kinds general bad tempers. A wolverine, particularly an already riled up one, was not something to tangle with.

So slightly angling himself away from where the noises were coming from when the scent of something enticing caught his attention. Not that he'd say it out loud of course but it made him ponder why a female wolf was wandering so close to the pack borders, particularity during that timer of the season where tension could be high. Not that it seemed like she had crossed them yet, however it still put him on guard.

Winding his way through the brush and woods, soon the two crossed paths. Pausing a few feet away, Ambrosia let out a loud huff of greeting mid step, as hoping not to startle her as he came up to her. Had she been the one that caused the wolverine to get into such a huff?

Hecate Liar
Sidestepping over the roots that protruded out of the ice, she wandered deeper into the forest. That is until she heard a chuff emitting from her backside. Hecate wasn't able to locate the visitor's scent over her own sickly sweet fragrance. She turned with pursed lips, green eyes sizing up the auburn man. He was on the smaller size of men she'd met paired with a shredded ear and eye. Tail flickering at her hocks, she was feeling neither threatened or turned on at this point. Her posture eased into relaxation, the hairs on her back laying down to cool off. "Hey," The broad offered politely, watching the nuances of his body language under extreme intimacy. "Who're you?" She didn't necessarily want to mess around with small talk without finding out exactly who this guy was. She'd made that mistake before.

She was going to use this stranger as a test run. Hecate had never been all that keen to chit-chat, it was a waste of time and nobody actually liked doing it. She was trying to improve her skills in social situations, where she often blatantly lost interest or her tongue. Desperately needing to turn a new leaf, this fellow would prove as an experiment, could she really do it?

Ambrosia Hellebore
Upon hearing his greeting, the woman turned around to look at him, staring him down as if to size him up.

"I'm Ambrosia,"
Dipping his head down, he answered the question in a polite tone, lifting his head back up as his eyes flickered over her body for a few seconds before looking back to her eyes, taking another small step towards her, noting  her eyes were a shade of green he had never seen before. Not quite smaragdine, as he knew one wolf to have but still pretty nontheless. His own tail was swaying slightly by his legs, his good ear lowering to relax against his head. This wasn't his first year of encountering females in season and he knew that some of them could be quite riled up because of it. So it was better to be on the safe side and be calm. He didn't need someone tearing off his other ear or taking his good eye. "Who are you? Were you the one the wolverine is so upset about?" Trying not to leave the air between them in an awkward silence, he asked the question upon remembering the chuffing noises of the wolverine.

His own social skills weren't exactly...Up to par either. He'd been avoiding his pack mates for the most part, fearfully aware of how they might react to his face. Despite the fact the few he had run across seemed rather nice and not at all worried over his face (aside from the pups of course but they were pups. It was somewhat expected of them). While he waited for her to answer and in an attempt to ignore the sickly sweet smell in the air, his eyes lowered to her paws and he wondered how long she had been alone, as there were no other scents on her. Not that he could hardly tell anyway but perhaps she could be convinced to join the pack?
