Fallen Tree Cove Time heals all wounds

He had been kind of a stranger lately.  He mostly interacted with Kajika and Moon, and now that both of them were gone, Tagg felt like he’d been neglecting his other packmates.  So he went off in search of his king, who he hadn’t seen much of.

Rather than wandering about the territory, as he usually did, the veteran decided to simply call for him.  He headed towards the lake, where he got a drink before anything else. He tipped his head back and let out a short howl, making it clear that he wanted to speak to only Vespertio. That would hopefully prevent other curious ears from wandering their way.

While he waited, Tagg gazed out over the water, remembering the ice disks that he and Moon had practiced sparring on.  It had been a fun day, and neither of them had fallen in.  His chest ache with sorrow.  He didn’t know where she was or why she’d gone, but he couldn’t help feeling like it was somehow his fault.  Though he hadn’t done anything wrong – to his knowledge, anyway – the russet man was worried Moon had gotten cold feet. He would have to go out and look for her soon, but he wanted to talk to his king first.

It was time to tell him a story.
