Blackmoore Northcrest
ooc: For @Larkspur , backdated before Moore's visit near FTC.

The wave of sweltering heat had loomed over the lands for the past few days. Drying up the grasses as well as those who'd decided to be 'up and about during the day. The weather was simply unbearable, which was quite an surprise as it was still just spring time. But unlike mortals, the mother nature did not had to follow any rules beyond the ones that have suited her, did she? Thus everyone had to just bear with it for the time being and perhaps consider a slight routine change. And just like others, Blackmoore did the only sensible choice and traveled by night. But even after sunset, the heat seemed to be unbearable at times. The night however was sparing him from being scorched by the sun on the account of his darker colors. It was, in a way, a saving grace for him.

Until now, the young male was taking a leisurely march on the edge of the spectral woods, on his way towards the serpent's pass. The woods happened to be a little bit of a strange place. After few initial routes that lead straight across it - the male had decided to keep to the most westward parts hugging the mountain range. Through which he'd was seeking a passage in form of the ominous sounding "serpent's pass". Blackmoore hoped that he'd would find the entry by tomorrow, but he (just like everyone and everything else) moved slower because of the heat. It did looked however that it was going to change. The air was stall, as the dark male came up to the edge of a small grove. He stopped, as something caught his attention on the edge of his vision. He looked eastward, away from the mountains and saw it.

The mighty storm lightning up the whole horizon furiously with chains of blazing lightnings among the clouds. Yet nothing was breaking the utter silence and spare chirps of the birds in the forest... How strange.
