Sex: MaleSince being pulled out into the world beyond the den, Corsair had been enchanted. Part of it was the wonder of discovery, and part of it was the fact that out there, there were many more Moms than in the den, and that was a very exciting prospect to the inquisitive and presently fearless Donata. The Mom in the den was the One True Mom, as it were, but out there he now knew there were others. The fluffy White Mom that sometimes visited, and another Mom, and another. Many other Moms waiting all just for him and his sisters.
So he imagined, anyway. His days of being content to nap in the shadows were over. From the moment he opened his glassy blue eyes, Corsair was trying to get back out there. In a change from days prior, he was usually permitted to do so, although his straying paws were easily stilled by Aponi or Serach if he went much further than the den's mouth. He was a quick learner and relatively obedient at this stage of his life, though, and figured out fairly quickly where the boundaries of his new range were and he tended to stay within them.
As early morning sunlight filtered down on the Donata den, Corsair sat in the entryway, swaying ever-so-slightly while staring wide-eyed up at a crow on a tree branch high above. It was the first bird he'd ever seen, and his eyes were dinner plates as he wondered, with what little power of contemplation he had at this age, what sort of other Mom this was.
