Secret Falls nostalgic feel

She had been watching the surface of the water after trailing a river a bit north from the Shallows. It seemed to be doing a strange thing.There were sections that seemed to spin about in their own little ways. She was half tempted to climb onto one and give it a go. The girl was lacking something a bit lighthearted and wallowing in her foul moods was doing no one any good.

Her tail whipped about above her back as she stood on the edge of the water. There was no one here to stop her from jumping into something she likely shouldn't. At least it wasn't bears this time.

The salt and peppered wolf was positive her shadow (Sachiel) would be creeping up soon to either join her or holler about what a bad idea this was. It would be best to go forth while she still could.

Her leap wasn't one of skill as she hit the ice disc. It seemed to wobble back and forth as she tried to regain her footing. A bark of joy errupted from the girl. Despite her paws now being rather cold from the ice and water, this seemed like a pretty solid idea. Take that! She hollered as if anyone was even around to argue with.
