Minor pp approved by Brian. Beware phone post typos.

They had discussed this opportunity, or at least her companion did most of the talking while she just kind of sat there and pondered the idea with awkward staring. Had they not encountered each other this type of thing would be out of the question, preferring the solitary lifestyle she was given since leaving the Greater Pack. But things had changed and the girl found herself interested in this male. She wanted to follow him, be by his side. Strange how things turned out that way.

And so she agreed to follow him to this place, bringing something to display their skills and usefulness for the pack. This would be the freshly killed carcass of a mountain goat, a hefty thing that took the both of them to lug around. She would not allow him to be the main one to carry it, taking pride in contributing to its death. But it did not come without a price. The girl wore a minor wound to her shoulder, two bleeding streaks from where its horns had struck her. But it was of no issue. The girl had speed and fast thinking on her side, bringing her to take riskier moves to catch the animal off guard. Leaving a minor limp to her walk, sore from the trek.

With a low grunt she would finally drop her end when Daesamar signalled the spot. Tongue sliding across blood covered lips, her amber gaze flicking to the male then down to the goat. She would allow him to summon the leadera of this place, her being a simple follower and trusting in his decision to join these wolves.

OOC here!

He had been horrified, their plan had worked, the duo had lucked out in their searches, having come across a couple of mountain goat and managed to take one down. His silent companion had taken the kill, thought at a cost, one that had the youth frantic beneath his quiet exterior. Once he had realized her wound was minor, he calmed some but still, the enormous male refused to allow his injured companion to carry the bulk of the dead offerings weight, not when he stood there uninjured and capable of dragging the majority of it with his size.

When they paused, he let go of the leg he had sank his fangs into, he looked over at Anaeia, giving a small nod “Their names are are @Lorcan and @Piety "This should be the spot.” [/b] he breathed slowly, hoping this worked, especially with Anaeia injured now, even though it was small, he couldn’t help but feel guilty, this had all been his plan. The goat’s death had an odd satisfaction to it, a morbid sense of vengeance when the thing that had caused his companion pain was dealt with, he felt an odd protectiveness for his silent comrade, even though he knew she was fully able to care for herself.  The yearling raised his muzzle to the sky, he let a howl of greeting rise across the mountain side.

It had been a week since Lorcan had last spoken to the large yearling, @Daesamar. The new leader had left the younger male with an offer. If he could bring him back something which demonstrated his skilled, his potential usefulness to the pack, Lorcan would most likely welcome into the Tarn. It was simple enough, the agouti male thought, however Daesamar had also something — or rather someone — else to offer the pack, if they agreed show. The leader had kept a close eye on the borders since then, sniffing around in case he scented Daesamar nearby. Lorcan was eager to see what the yearling turned up with and so, when he heard the male's howl echo through the tarn he wasted no time in moving to greet him.

He was not surprised to notice another figure hovering alongside the large male, and as he moved to meet the pair, his golden gaze lingered on the smaller female with interest. Tail held high, but sweeping side to side in warm greeting, he approached the two wolves with a feeling of optimism. "Nice to see you again, Daesamar." He greeted, before turning his curious gaze towards the brown female. "This must be your friend?" He paused, waiting to see if he would get a response from her.

Next his attention turned to the mountain goat that lay dead at their paws. The blood which stained both of their maws indicated that it had been a joint effort. Lorcan was certainly impressed. Mountain goats were not the easiest beasts to prey on, difficult for even the most experiences hunter. A smile pulled at his charcoal lips. "You two have me impressed, you made quite the kill." The leader commented with obvious enthusiasm. It would do well to fill their caches. @Piety would most definitely be pleased.

Piety Santoro

She did not rush to the borders but she also did not dillydally. Her strides were long as she moved with ease across the terrain. Even if it hadn't been very long since they became official she was still familiar with the place. They had lingered long before making borders on the territory.

When she broke free of her thoughts she realized there were two familiar forms on the horizon. One was of Daesamar and the other Lorcan. As for the third wolf? Well, Piety had no idea who they were. So she lifted her head and tail as she closed in on the small gathering. She stood next to Lorcan's side as she examined the scene in full. The pair had bought a rather large offer it seemed.

"My, my." She said warmly as her tail swished over her back and gaze glanced between the pair.

She gazed upon Daesamar as he mentioned the names of who they would be encountering shortly, Lorcan and Piety. This whole naming thing others did was still a learning curve, having come from a place where a majority of her people went by just a title. Either way, she could adapt to the situation and figure something else. Lingering as the boys shadow and only motioning in response, they would just have to tolerate the silence or turn her away. Not that it would be able to stop her from checking on the male.

Soon enough a male would appear after the call, larger than herself and of tawny colouration. Her amber gaze quickly looked him over, giving herself some information that might prove useful down the line. Even as he spoke, she would simply stand there and observe the interaction. Her gaze drifting up towards him as he focused on her. And thus the unsettling gaze did not waver, chin tucked inward and almost elongating her facial features. Why did she have to be so weird?

Another showed up, a woman, again larger than Anaeia. Her gaze drifted towards this newest addition, neither raising her tail or head, just kind of staying in place. Indifferent almost. Casually the female would reach around and lick at the wound in her right shoulder, gaining the newest piece from the kill that lay at their paws. A few simple laps to clean the loose blood before turning back around and glancing towards Daesamar. Her eyes were almost asking him a question, what now? what do?

Daesamar Silverveil
The yearling settled down after he made the call, his silver eyes turning toward Pebble’s wound when Lorcan’s scent drifted toward them,. The youth shifted, glancing toward the agouti male as he arrived on the scene. Daesamar smiled, his own ash streaked tail wagging softly in greeting as the alpha approached. His crooked ear tip flopped as his perked his ears, listening to the wolf’s words before giving a slow nod in response. He had spent the better part of the week trying to find Pebble, realizing it was rather hard to find a wolf who’s name he didn’t even really know, and asking people if they had seen Pebble was sure to have gotten him strange looks, but he had managed it , and somehow he had managed to convince her to come with him to the Tarn.

He felt it,. That famailer rush of heat in his cheeks as he blushed looking away and giving a quick bob of his head to Lorcan’s compliment on their kill. It just didn’t feel like much of a victory when someone had gotten hurt because of it. The goat had been mostly luck, and Pebble’s greater hunting experience then his own that had brought it down. He opened his mouth, his tongue hanging out to form words when Piety appeared next. He paused, waiting for her to settle before he forgot what he was going to say, he pulled his tongue back in, grinning a bit “Hello miss Piety, This is Pebble, a good friend of mine.” he said, gesturing toward his silent shadow. “She delivered the killing blow on it.” he added, wanting to be sure they knew that she had contributed greatly to the kill, he hadn’t even been sure how they woulda reached it, let alone succeed in taking it out if he had been by himself.

Lorcán Artemieva
The young male, Daesamar, seemed pleased to him again bit his friend seemed remained quiet, her expression almost indifferent as his golden stare met her amber gaze. Lorcan found himself curious about her. He remembered the yearling male explaining to him that she was quiet, that she didn't speak, but did that mean that she couldn't or was it simply a choice for the female? The leader really had little way of knowing without coming across as intrusive, so he chose not to question it for the moment and instead turned his attention towards @Piety as she moved to stand alongside him before the pair.

She too was impressed with their kill. Eyeing the mountain goat again, Lorcan gave a roll of his shoulders before turning his attention back to Daesamar's female companion, watching as he licked at the fresh wound on her shoulder, no doubt caused by the beast they had taken down. Russet ears perked up, listening as Daesamar went on to introduce his friend, whilst his gaze remained fixed on her, observing her with interest. "I must commend you on your hunting skills Pebble, though I see you have sustained an injury to your shoulder..." He moved closer then, stepping away from Piety so that he could approach the quiet female. He hesitated for a moment, golden eyes searching for permission in her stare, before he would lean in to sniff softly at the wound.

"I have some White Fir bark which I could use to treat this back at the den..." Lorcan said quietly, before turning back to look at Piety with a questioning look, seeking her approval. "What do you think?" He asked, referring to taking in both Daesamar and the injured female. He had yet to set up a proper medicinal cache so only had the Fir bark and Salmonberry leaves he had found earlier in the season to spare. It would use up much of what little medicinal supplies the pack had, but they were in need of more hunters. Especially with two litters expected within the pack.

Piety Santoro

The one female stayed silent, merely observing it seemed. Did she intend to stay then? Or was she perhaps just here to help Daesamar? Either way she was thankful for the stranger as she was informed the killing blow on the goat had come from them. Impressive to say the least.

Pleasure to meet you, Pebble and good to see you again, Daesamar. She gave a gentle nod of her head towards each of them in a proper greeting. The Santoro lingered back as her mate went to seek the wound. She had no surprise there for she was positive he was still a healer at his core, not matter what rank or role she put him in.

Her good ear raised up at Lorcan's question. A soft hum escaped her as she thought over things. Pebble, do you intend to stay? For she already knew that the young boy had expressed an interest in the Tarn. We certainly have a space for you and can get that shoulder healed up. It would do us no good to have an injured hunter. The leader spoke with a faint smile and soft sway of her high-lifted tail.

@Daesamar

The girl waited for the formalities to pass, amber gaze shifting slowly from her companion and back towards the other two they would be seeking acceptance from. The animal was a tough one to bring down, she would not deny that. He was fast and strong, transversing the steep mountainside as though it had wings unseen to others. But they had brought it down, with the male using his large size to distract the beast and her speed to come around and close to deliver the killing blow. Even then they had to struggle with dragging it down long enough to actually put it down.

A low voice rose up and the girl would glance back to Daesamar, greeting the pale wolf as Piety and introducing the smaller female. So that meant the male would be Lorcan. Before she could truly study them her mention was brought up, the deliverer of the animal to death. This would not stir much from the female, simply looking back to the pair before them and lowering her skull to about the level of her shoulders. It was just a kill needed to join this place Daesamar spoke of. Maybe a hint of pride in it, but even then it was buried deep within her emotionless features.

The larger male, Lorcan, now addressed Anaeia. Her gaze rose to his own, ears pulled forward atop her skull as she listened. Commanding for the impressive kill they brought and pointing out her minor injury. But then he moved, and for a brief moment the girl suspected him to do something to her. This hair of concern would go unnoticed physically, eyes darting to Daesamar briefly before turning straight ahead. There was no reason to be concerned, only an inspection like back home. And so she remained still, hearing the sniffles of his nose near her shoulder. He noted having some bark back at their den he could use to treat it, then looking to his female for approval.

The woman of white addressed the smallest of the group, seeking the girl's position in this little meeting. Her friend had already voiced his interest, but she was still just a lingering shadow to them all. Slowly she would look to the dark male, amber eyes almost seeking his gaze, his being for the answer she should give them. Wanted to tell them. She could fit any rank they were to give her within this place, voicing a spot as a hunter. But it felt like some time since she was last within a structured situation like this. Uncertain of if things would be similar like The Greater Pack, or would it be different? Harder? Softer? This thought made it appear as though she was off someplace else as she looked to Daesamar.

But then she would blink after several long moments, turning back to the pair and giving a dip of her skull to them. Yes, she intends to stay. Even her tail dare give confirmation, giving a single swipe to the side.
