The male stomped his way through the tall pine trees, agouti fur bristled and black-tipped tail lashing out angrily behind him. The day had started off so well, but now, now Lorcan was positively fuming. A dark scowl masked his scarred features and his pale brows were arched deeply over his normally bright golden eyes. Pensively the leader glared at the ground, half watching as his muddied paws kicked up the remnants of snow that remained upon the forest floor as he moved.

Lorcan was heading in no direction in particular. If anything he was stalling. He did not want to return to the communal den and speak to Piety, or anyone, just yet. No, he desperately needed to let off some of the aggression that had built up in his muscles since confronting Cheedo earlier. It was clear, even as he moved beneath the dappled light of the trees, that the muscles beneath his thick pelt were tense. Russet ears pushed back hard against his head and his pearly fangs flashed out from behind his charcoal lips as his gaze flashed around him. He needed to find a physical outlet, fast.

Kip still wasn’t completely sure how she felt about everything, after her conversation with Odin. She’d been such a girl. A pitiful, pathetic little girl who was so in love with one single boy, and she didn’t know what to do about it. So maybe not thinking about it at all was the best option.

It definitely wasn’t, but whatever. It wouldn’t kill her.

Finding Lorcan hadn’t been on the agenda, but here they were. He was bristled up like a pissed off porcupine, and the sight lit up a tiny fire in her chest. Oh, he wanted to fight, and the sturdy little mountain wolf was more than happy to oblige.

”You look as pissed off as I am all the time,” she remarked, approaching him with a slight wag of her tail. ”So, since we’re both pissed, good sir... would you do the honor of fighting me?” she asked, seafoam eyes gleaming with mischief and anticipation.

”You look as pissed off as I am all the time,”

Lorcan stopped suddenly in his tracks and turned his head around to look at Kip, his ears pricking, a scowl still scrunching his scarred features. The wag of her tail indicated that the comment was made in good humour, which caused the larger male to relax a little. His shoulders sagged, though did not completely relax as he offered the girl a half grin-half grimace.

”So, since we’re both pissed, good sir... would you do the honour of fighting me?"

Pale brows rose, suddenly interested in what he was hearing from her. A fight was just what he needed, though the thought of attacking the smaller subordinate made him hesitate for a moment. "Only if you promise not to hold back." He quipped, turning to face her fully now and squaring his paws beneath him, readying himself for an attack. His lean muscles were already warm, his body already shivering with adrenaline. Any move Kip made now would be met with a snap of his fangs.

He lowered his head, shielding his throat from her view as his piercing golden eyes watched her intently, waiting
