Mako Coho
All welcome -- Overcast Clouds - 53.6 ° F, 12 ° C

Mako supposed he should be grateful for the approach of spring, but it was hard to be when he felt like he was melting out of his skin in the overly warm air, soon to be a puddle with the rapidly melting snow. The greyscale boy was well overdressed for the practically balmy weather, his thick coat that had kept him comfortable throughout winter now far too much. It was cloudy, but so damned warm today, and the faster he got all this shedding fur off of him, the better. Tongue lolling from his mouth as he panted, he decided he really needed to speed up this process. Eyes surveying the forest, he settled on a giant douglas fir, the deep grooves in the bark would be perfect for his purpose.

Mako grunted, roughly rubbing his flank against the trunk of the tree. His usual cutting silhouette was absolutely ruined by the fluffy tufts of fur sticking out at all angles and seemingly exploding from his hide with every pass against the tree trunk. With a fleeting thought of vanity, he wouldn't just feel better, but look better once he got his pelt under control.

Remington
And then you get up and get up and get up again

This particular day she decided was a good one. She had a nice rabbit in her teeth that hadn't taken too great of effort to catch. The weather in her mind was perfect. It was much too warm for it to snow today, and maybe the rest of the week. The faintly, dark sky was just enough so she wasn't panting up a storm. Though her coat was a bit scruffy it was almost shed. Except for the thick tufts on her underbelly, and haunches. Remington wasn't fussing. They'd fall out in time like the rest. Besides she had never paid too much to her appearance. (To her mother's horror.) It was preciously why she didn't. It had bothered the woman, and in the Lore she'd never had reason.

A near by grunt caused her to cock her head. She didn't know who it belonged to, but wasn't like she particularly knew each of her pack macks grunt either. Curious if it was one of the Edge she traversed in its direction, finding it was not. It was a rather large wolf she'd never laid eyes on, and he seemed to be going to the effort of brushing himself. "Is that helping?" She called, an obvious friendly yet questioning look to her silver face.
