Sex: MaleRE: A recent heat wave has left the forest drier than usual.
He tried to find shade, crawling under a dogwood tree as his sides heaved, tongue lolling out of his mouth. Zale had planned to romp about but just a few minutes of running around had exhausted him. The forest was dry and he wasn't sure where the closest place to find water was. The boy was pretty sure there was water outside of the pack's borders but that meant two things.
1.) Having to sneak past the grown ups.
2.) Using more energy when he was already exhausted.
Zale could not imagine being capable of either of those things. With a heavy sigh, he rolled over onto his back like a opossum playing dead.
