Nia Hervok
OOC: This is just a quick spree between my characters returning home...pm me if you want to hop in. Otherwise I'll be making an AW post momentarily.

Nia Hervok
Side by side or miles apart

Clouds parted to allow the moonlight to shine through, illuminating the two figures. Snow crunched beneath their paws and a bitter cold crept up their legs. Nia walked slightly ahead of her mother, nose trailing the ground for intruders. "I don't smell anyone." she announced with a head nod in the older woman's direction. Nia observed while Danica briskly took the lead, heading off deeper into the abandoned packlands.

Quickly enough they were standing side by side in front of an old worn den. It looked forgotten, damaged. Repairs were needed to make it suitable...but for the night? Perhaps it could do. She looked to her mother for guidance, waiting to see what the woman would want. The need to gather herbs for her mother's wellbeing pricked at back of her mind...but the season was wrong. Would there be anyone nearby whom might have some dried and stored for the winter months?

Danica
No bebe, only table that still works

Danica walked with a limp, taking up the rear end until her daughter gave the all clear. She smirked, she was truly home again. Back to where she was born, where she'd raised her first child until his untimely death. She took in a deep inhale, allowing the stale scents to flood her senses. Memories ran rampant in her mind. Laughter. Puphood. Growing up. Mistakes and sorrows as well. She was home. And with a Hervok Heir...they would reign supreme. The Hervok Dnasty would be known far and wide...Danica's mind went on with the musings as the old wolfess traveled across the pack land quickly. It didn't take long to find the old den-site, a soft gasp coming from her maw. She stared with teary eyes. ”We're home.”She could sense her daughter's eyes on her, and turned her head with a reassuring smile. Gently she pressed her pelt into Nia's. She offered a lick to her cheek before stepping away to observe the den. It was in rough shape but nothing that couldn't be fixed. The old woman went in head first with a growl, warning anything inside it was not welcomed.

Nia smiled at her mother a bit weakly. You're home. She thought to herself. A small sigh left her lips. Perhaps she could come to love this place, but in her years as a nomad she'd yet to find somewhere that felt as home as being beside her twin. It'd been a long time since they breathed the same air, but not a day went by that her mind didn't linger on him. She had other siblings too, but he was her other half in a sorts. What had become of him was unkown to her and she chose not to dwell.

The female returned her mother's affections before following into the dark hole. The scents it held were all but stale, barely even there. "Can we rest for tonight? There's much to do tommrow." She didn't expect a yes, but as her aging mother laid herself upon the dirt floors she suspected a maybe.

Danica
Danica went in with aggression but thankfully it was not needed. It didn't take her long to find her way to the familiar den floor. She made herself comfortable and motioned for her daughter to join her. The Hervok heir abided, snuggling against her mother and burying her face deep into the old wolf's pelt. Dani sighed with content, resting her head across her nape. "Just this one time." She said, closing her emerald jewels and quickly slipping off into slumber.

They had earned it, given how far they'd come. It wasn't an easy trip by no means. It was worth it to her, though, and she ebloved to her daughter to. Not realizing just how the young one felt.
