Azra Donata
@Landen and @Leith, Light Snow 17.6 ° F, -8 ° C

This was as close as Azra dare get to his ruined birthplace. This was safe enough. The fire damage was not severe here at all, as it turned out. Azra had visited this place maybe a handful of times and he liked the story, he liked how it solidified his family in the world and left them memorialized in the landscape. That was safe. Azra had never gotten to see it in the winter time: the forest had burned down towards the end of summer, which made for a good rationalization.

In the summer the three water falls were charming, bright, and inviting with their mists in the hot summer, fed by Cold Water Creek. Nothing could be more stately than the Thee Sisters in the winter time, though. Clear sheets of ice covered the water falls and rock face, sparkling like a hard, precious stone. Frozen fog billowed from the water hitting the glassy surface of the pool below. The boughs of the fir trees surrounding it were encased in a centimeter of ice all around. The air becomes alight with a soft rainbow hue, deflected off the suspended water droplets. Rissa was the smallest of the waterfalls, then Aiyana a bit bigger, and then Kisla was the biggest; as they had been in life. They were named for each of Corinna's (his grandma) three daughters.

It was enough to just sit and marvel at the scene, drinking in the icy breeze and the serenity of the legend. Well, Kisla had lived until almost Azra was born, so it was hardly legend but... Azra was the only one who knew it. It could have all been a tall tale at this point. All the wolves were gone. His family was wrapped into the history of the land as just another myth.

Winter time was tougher for the last Donata, as there were few bugs to follow to take his mind off things. Birds could be spotted, but seldom and they weren't particularly interesting.

Landen Stark
You said you'll never be forgiven 'til your boys are too

Landen and Lee had made their way south. He wanted to see this Oak Free Wind place that his brother had spoken of, and well, he was sort of leading this expedition, as much as he could when it came to make decisions anyway… he had an eager look in his eyes as his head craned around. These woods were creepy. Why would anyone want to settle down there? The young sparrow just turned his head from side to side with a soft huff. “Oi, Lee, we close yet?” He asked, his accent hanging thick over the woods that had gone near silent in the middle of winter, which was odd for him.

The Stark child took precariously after both of his parents. He was not used to his gentler tones reaching out over such distances. He normally left that to his brother who exploded into any scenery like a cannon. His head craned, nose working to try and sniff out any scents as his cerulean gaze travelled over the lands around him. There was just something funny on the wind. “Lee, ya smell that?” He asked, his voice much softer now as if that were even possible for the boy.

He could have sworn there was a stench of wolf. He had been expecting coyote, or perhaps just nothing at all. He felt like it had been ages since they’d actually stumbled upon another wolf travelling. His brother was far better in conversation, so he figured if his nose was not playing tricks on him that he might let him lead the way into this interaction. Landen felt like he wouldn’t even know how to begin such things anyway.
