She was tired a lot, and she had already started to prepare herself for what she knew would be coming soon… nothing could ever truly prepare her for bringing life into the world, however. She was laying just outside the pack den, letting glimpses of the sun catch her pelt as she soaked in the warmth, her eyes closed though she wasn’t asleep. She was simply… relaxing. Her energy was lacking, and had been for the past week. She attributed it to the little one(s) in her belly taking all of her energy so they could grow.
Everything had been weird, of course, at least to her. The pack… she knew them all but she still felt like she didn’t really know any of them and in a different time, pre-knight as she called it as she still didn’t know the man’s name, she probably would have sought them all out by now and conversed with him… unfortunately, it was not something she had done yet. She would have to do it after the pups were born because the thought of doing it now was just too taxing. She had to be close, right? She’d gotten this fat so that meant that the pups would be coming soon? She hoped so. Carrying them around like this was exhausting.
