With the already uncomfortably hot weather of summer made worse by a stifling humidity that just seemed to linger, the wanderer had opted to head back to one of the places she knew that could reliably provide water and shade. Katiya found herself rather partial to the terrain surrounding that large lake and had opted to linger along the rocky northern shores of it.
Those islands were still out there, too, waiting to be explored. That was on the wanderer’s agenda to be accomplished eventually, but for now - and without anywhere else to be, Katiya was content to lounge. She had chosen to sprawl out atop a decently sized rock, the trees behind her providing more than enough shade to keep her cool and comfortable.
From there, the wanderer simply watched, observing her surroundings. Listening to the sounds of the water, or the birds that glided overhead. Such an easygoing existence was not what she was accustomed to, and while it was not altogether unpleasant, the lacking of any sense of purpose or direction was not something Katiya was overly fond of either. For now, the rogue was content to enjoy this relatively easygoing lifestyle, but she could not deny a longing for some form of entertainment, excitement, or goal.
