Kip, you find a hidden patch of uneaten blackberries, yours for the taking!

It wasn't often these days that Kip just took time for herself, but as the pups aged and became less dependent on her, she decided it was high time she started doing things just for herself again. The weather was getting better, too, as fall made itself known and the leaves started changing from green to brown.

She padded slowly beside the lake, enjoying the cool breeze on her face and letting out a soft, content sigh. Honestly, she hadn't expected anything remotely exciting to come from the little walk, so when she spotted a bizarrely green plant near the treeline, she was surprised. A frown crossed her maw before she padded over to it, and was delighted to find a pawful of still-ripe blackberries growing on the branches.

Kip decided to tilt her head back and howl shortly to see if anyone was nearby and wanted to share.

Chan wasn't far. Wintergreen berries were also in season, and he'd been scrounging around for them pretty regularly. When he heard Kip's call, he'd just finished clearing a branch of it's delicacies. As such, he didn't have a need for more, but the idea of chitchatting with his pack mate was alluring enough to draw him away from the mint-scented plants.

Still licking the juice from his black lips, Chan's tail jumped up to wag happily when mismatched eyes landed on the cream-colored woman.
