Scully Archer
Backdated to 2/21, Scully is visiting with a gift intended for @Clover and her infirmary courtesy of Willow Ridge. All welcome to any DEB members!
@Viorel @Vayko @Vanadis @Katna @Vasco @Sharlee @Rochus @Archer @Oleander @Marguerite

It had been a bit of effort, but Scully had retained a thing or two from time spent with medic-minded family such as his Aunt Ravenna and after about two day's worth of work, he'd scraped together a sizeable bundle of useful greenery (and yellow-ry and brown-ery) backed by a curvature of bark known for it's ability to soothe aches and pains. Studded into the center, like a gem set into jewelry, were winter flowers that were treats only for the eyes - and specifically for Clover.

Yes, he thought himself quite charming. When he arrived at the Backwater's well-marked territory, he set down the makeshift bouquet and gave his aching jaws a stretch before pointedly fixing the little display back into something visually appealing, rather than marred and shifted by his fangs. When happy that it looked it's best for his saintly neighbor, he tipped back his head and sent out a howl - the Ridge had gifts to bare.

Sharlee Valle
It was by chance that Sharlee had been in the territory when the call sounded. Lately she'd gone back to doing more exploring around the territory. She'd found a few interesting things some of which were small enough to bring back and store in her personal den. Others not small at all.

She made her way through the backwater to the border from which the call had come. There she found an interestingly colored male with Grey eyes. She approached with a friendly smile across her features. The backwater had been getting quite a few visitors as of late.

"Welcome, I'm Sharlee Valle, is there something I can help you with?" She asked taking notice of the bundle at the man's feet.

Archer Valle

The trek back down the mountain had been long, but not nearly as tiring as the trek up had been. He didn't understand why the Cove wolves lived up there; it must be exhausting having to go up and down all the time, and it felt like the adults had been worried something would happen to the pups up there. It did seem a more treacherous place to live than the Backwater, and he was glad he was home, safe and sound. And glad he could share with his newfound friends from the Cove while they themselves visited.

That didn't mean he wasn't above wandering off when given the chance; Archer preferred to be solitary, unless he was with Eros. He didn't mind the Cove kids so much though; they were fun. Still, when a call sounded at the border, Archer perked up and trotted that direction, not in any particular hurry but still wanting to arrive in time to catch the action. His aunt Shar was the only one from the Backwater to arrive, and the man standing there immediately caught his interest. His fur was such an interesting pattern, and his eyes were gray like Archer's own. He padded to Aunt Shar's side and peered down at the beautifully arranged pile of herbs. He looked back up at the stranger and then his aunt. "I'm Archer," he said, feeling he should introduce himself as well. "Are these herbs for us? Our stores are getting a little low." He was looking forward to spring, when @Clover would be able to teach him more about herbs, with more growing near the territory. It helped that the other packs kept bringing them some from other parts of the Lore.

Clover Assana
Clover had been taking a well-deserved break from her pre-spring cleaning when she heard the semi-familiar call from Scully. It seemed he had brought some gifts from Willow Ridge, and with a brief smile to herself she began to head in his direction. She had wondered when he would show up, and this was a good a time as any.

She wasn't the first the first to arrive, and saw Sharlee and Archer were already present. Her ears caught the tail end of Archer's query as she ambled up beside him, her eyes glancing down briefly at the assortment of herbs Scully had brought. The boy wasn't wrong, after a long winter her stores were starting to dwindle with regards to specific herbs, and just from the quick glance she guessed the bark was likely of the White Fir variety. That would definitely be of some use.

"It's good to see you again, Scully," Clover said with a wide smile and a dip of her head in greeting. "And thank you for this gift, it will definitely be put to good use." She had noticed the arrangement of decidedly non-medicinal winter flowers, but decided not to mention them unless Scully brought it up. They were quite pretty, and she could use them to spruce up her den to make it a bit nicer to be in, especially considering she had much more work to do inside it.

Scully Archer
It wasn't Clover that appeared first, but he'd known the odds to be against him in that regard. Still, the woman that first showed was a looker in her own right, and he was far from disappointed. His ink-dipped tail waved lazily behind him as he greeted her with a toothy smile.

"It's a pleasure, miss," he answered with a dip of his head, willing to give her the details she asked for. Before more could fall from his tongue, however, another had appeared. He looked grown, but there was a clear youthfulness to his features that betrayed his true age. This was one of last year's crop, eh? Scully cocked a brow at the name offered him. Archer. Sure.

Our stores are getting a little low, he informed him, and internally Scully was pleased - all the better for him if his gift was needed. It gave him reason to keep visiting too, or at least a more valid one than what was actually at the heart of his venture to the Backwater. Speaking of...

"Heya Angel," he purred in response to Clover's greeting. She gave away his name, but he still took the opportunity to give Sharlee a little more information.

"Scully Archer, here to represent Willow Ridge."

It kind of felt weird, saying that after all the time that had passed thinking the Ridge would never stand again.

"Thought ya guys might like it," he then spoke broadly to the little group that had gathered, a multicolored paw pushing the sled-like bark and it's contents forward toward Clover. She was given a wink when his lips parted once more.

"Wanted y'guys to know we're more than talk."

Vayko
what i really need now is a double shot of crown

A call rose from a voice he did not recognize, heading carefully towards the borders with some hastened speed but crossing a vast majority of the territory to do so. As a result, he arrived after his sister, nephew, and the medicus who had saved his ass more than a few times. His brow furrowed, tension carrying in his bones when he heard the purred response to Clover’s greeting, eyes narrowing. “Angel? Clover, did you change your name and not tell me?” He asked with a protective glint in his tone.

It was the season getting to him, and the tone that the other man used. Willow Ridge. His head tilted to the side and he hummed. He was trying to be cordial. Viorel was the one with the interpersonal skills, not him… he secretly hoped his co-lead would arrive in case he created a situation that would cause Viorel to have an aneurysm. “Vayko Valle, one of the leaders of Dead Empress Backwater.” He finally introduced, realizing he had forgotten his name in his hastened push back against the nickname used with Clover… he certainly would have had the same reaction if Scully had referred to his sister as Angel… right?

Sharlee Valle
Archer was quick to join her at the border to greet their visitors. She smiled as he immediately introduced himself to the stranger who she had noticed hadnt given his name. Archer had also noticed the bundle of plants at the man's feet and asked about them.

"It's my pleasure to meet you as well," she offered with a smile. Just as she'd gotten that out Clover appeared and seemed to known the man. That was when she learned that his name was Scully and the plants were indeed a gift. "Your gift is a very kind gesture," she offered, "And on behalf of the backwater we do appreciate the gesture. I'll be sure to let Vi know about this."

Sharlee was curious about what Scully called Clover but chose not to say anything. It really wasn't her business and she wasn't even sure she wanted to know. However, her brother didn't see it that way and his jealousy was pretty evident. She kept her mouth shut and sat back on her haunches to wait and see what happend mostly cause she thought it rude to leave and also she thought she might possibly be needed.

Archer Valle

Archer was pleased when Clo showed up to follow up about the herbs, and she seemed to appreciate the herbs. He didn't know if they had these ones in stock, and he didn't recognize the flowers. He was distracted from asking - for the moment - by the man's greeting to Clo. Archer cocked his head and narrowed his eyes at the tone used. He seemed friendly, but perhaps a little too friendly. It seemed his uncle agreed, quickly arriving and shooting a quip at their herbalist.

Then the man introduced himself as Skully Archer and the boy's eyes lit up. "Are you related to my ma?" he asked. "She's @Vanadis Argrys-Archer. I'm named after her family." he puffed his chest out, hoping to be impressive. Even if Skully was being weird to Clover, if he was one of ma's relatives Archer wanted to impress him.
