The masked woman didn't like leaving pack territory. She was getting bigger by the day it seemed and she worried she wouldn't be in her den when the time came for her to have her pups. She didn't have much of a choice. There wasn't any water in the willows leaving the wolves of Willow Ridge only one choice. They had to travel to the lagoon for water.
Avella was on her way there when she spotted it fluttering in the grass. She could see that it clearly wasn't grass, it didn't move like that. She quickly realized that it was fur stuck in the grass. She'd seen it on occasion so thought nothing of it at first. She still did think to inspect it, maybe there was something there worth checking out.
What she found was surprising. Tucked into the tuft of hair was a small rabbits nest. In the nest were baby bunnies. Not knowing what to do she just stared at them.
