Mouseling
Each newcomer piqued his interest further. There were a good few wolves in this pack, though not as big as his natal pack. Mouseling watched them settle and look to their leader. He could detect the desperation in the wolf's voice as Hagar questioned them.

Mouseling turned his head to the pair of adolescents pressed together. The boy's words caught his attention. He glanced back and forth between Clouse, Hagar, and Daegal. Three wolves missing, and only two being asked about? Mouseling wondered if the leader had simply forgotten due to stress. Or perhaps it was just a well-kept secret from the younger wolves where Izzy had gone. He couldn't yet tell from the other wolves' reactions.

He shifted further behind Clouse, his ears perked for any answers to the questions posed to the group. He secured his tail under his haunches and continued to observe the meeting silently. His ears and eyes strained to discern any shift in the gathered wolves.

Niamh came, standing at the side of Hagar. The youngest of Hagar's children bot far behind. Eve first looked to Deirdre, purposefully avoiding Niamh's attention. While they both had solid brown pelts and blue eyes, Eve's younger sister was darker then her in every way. Eve was a milk chocolate, Dre, dark chocolate. Eve's eyes were the color of the skies whilst Dre, deep and dark waters. They were alike. Eve didn't know if she should grow to hate her or love her.

Eve gave Niamh a glance then, jaw clenching. Once, it had been her mother- the leader who stood at her father's side. Eve was happy to be so quickly distracted by the presence of others- Ruka, who had been here once more and left only to return. Eve didn't know why. When she was here the first time Eve was still quite young. Then her remaining brother showed, @Daegal. His unhappiness was obvious. Most of them were pretty much unhappy. Eve silently wondered, as she pressed herself back into him as well, if he would be the next to leave. If he did, she just hoped he would tell her. It was likely so she would join him, wherever he went.

Then the obvious was announced: Ra and Avella now missing. Daegal quipped up about Iseldir and Eve tried to give their father the benefit of the doubt- maybe he hadn't mentioned him since it had been months already and obvious so that he was no where to be found.

"I think it was around last i saw them too..." She starts with a murmur. "Ra was digging at flowers a bit east of here later that day. Mom I had seen the night before." And that was the last she saw her. Hagar having seen her mom still in the den that morning and Eve having seen Ra later on that afternoon.

Kaeruka
Ruka couldn't help but feel the weight of the tension and anxiousness that cloaked the air like a thick sludge, her emerald gaze that had been taking in the various expressions of her pack mates that gathered swiftly falling back on Hagar as he spoke. The desperation that filled his words were enough to cause Ruka to sweep her ears back in guilt and drop her gaze to the dirt at her paws, unable to muster up a single word to lend any form of aid to the whereabouts of their missing members. She had searched and each venture out only resulted in her returning empty pawed. She couldn't find Izzy, couldn't find Ra nor Avella. Frankly, she felt more and more useless with each rise and fall of the moon.

It was young Daegal that spoke up first following Hagar's probing questions, only to remind them all of another member that had been missing for far too long. Then another voice spoke up and emerald eyes shifted from the dirt below to the chocolate mask of Eve. At least the small bits of information she shared with the group could be considered useful to some extent, further painting out the makeshift timeline her father was trying to piece together.

Clouse Charity Archer
Clouse felt Mouseling at his back, but did not spare him a glance much less a greeting- his gaze was focused singularly on Hagar and what the man had to say about his sister. None of the others who assembled drew his attention either. It wasn't until the bear-like man began to speak that he started to look around him, gauging reactions, waiting for answers. Perhaps had none of them had anything new to say, but he hoped that just maybe, one of them did.

Hagar led, but the first to respond was the remaining boy pup about his errant brother and Clouse couldn't help a soft, dismissive snort of air expelling from his nostrils. Iseldir had either sunk or learned to swim by now, and likely had chosen to take off like kids do. And ultimately, whatever happened to the child, quite frankly, Clouse didn't care.

Nin was next, her information about Ra that which stuck in his mind. Digging at flowers. Apart from Avella. Okay... He continued to look around at those gathered, but nothing else was said. Niamh he supposed had likely already told her mate all she knew, had Kaeruka? His silver eyes hovered on her masked features a moment.

"I said goodbye to my sister before setting out on my scouting trip."

His gaze had settled upon Hagar now, hard and accusing once more. His tail stiffened, but did not raise.

"Came back to her being missing and this is all we have, huh?"

Each of them aside from Mouseling were also given their own disapproving stare, one by one, before coming back to those placid green eyes of their leader's. She was blind. How could they just lose her?

"What now then?"

Hagar
His son was the first to speak up, but not with any answers. 'And Izzy,' he declared, drawing his father's gaze. Hagar nodded. Of course if anyone had information on Iseldir as well, he wanted to know. Maybe that was where they had gone... maybe Avella had caught their child's scent. How far could that take her, though? When would they expect her back, how would they know if she needed her pack?

Yet, it was only Nineve who had anything to say. Hagar looked to each of them, thoughts spinning behind beryl eyes. Piecing together all that he had been told over the past week, while silence currently encompassed them. Clouse spoke up then, again with information he had already known. Clearly, this would not work for them. He couldn't help a frustrated sigh, and even a crinkling of his muzzle, showing off his long-teeth.

Hagar was a wolf who rarely felt anger, but it seeped into him now. Why? Why did they have to constantly lose rather than gain? Why did it have to be some of the wolves he most cared about? Why weren't they more anxious to help him in this? He closed his eyes, heading shaking softly back and forth.

'What now then?'

He looked to the ground, and then to those gathered before him.

"We will be searching in parties going forward, three wolves or more. Do not leave each other's sight, be methodical. We need every bit of these lands searched for them. If by the end we don't find any bodies, we'll at least know they're alive."

It was grim, but the truth, and all he could think to do. After all... if they did all choose to abandon them...

No. Avella would not do that.

still no posting order, i'll likely be archiving on hagar's next post unless asked not to <3

Nineve Archer
Only one spoke up after her. Clouse. His rage obvious by his sister being missing. His time being split between one group and this one certainly putting a toll on things. The only reason for his coming was to make certain his sister as well off, and now this happened.

Eve frowned deeply, listening to her father's words and nodding silently to them that she understood. The thought of the possibility of finding bodies almost made her not want to search at all, afraid of what she might find. But she had too, didn't she? Iseldir and Avella were gone and Eve needed to find out why.

Deirdre
The vibe was certainly off, Deirdre decided. Everyone was tense, and she could almost taste the anger coming from a few of the wolves as they spoke, her father included. She didn't like it at all, and pushed herself closer into her mother's fur, doing her best to, probably for the first time, make it seem like she wasn't even there.

The context of their discussion was lost on her, the few words she managed to catch, and even fewer those she understood the meaning of, going in one ear and straight out the other. She sniffled softly, looking up to try and silently catch Niamh's gaze, seeking some form of comfort from her mother.
