Hallie Riott-Kringle
It had now been several weeks since she was forced from her captive abode by an overwhelming disaster, had a volcanic eruption been the answer to her prayers? Hundreds dead yet Hallie was emotionless and distant for none of that matter, her family or at least most of them had perished weeks before. The chaos that unfolded when the soot filled the sky was enough to let her drift away from the sadistic wolves that tormented and claimed her after they overwhelmed her quiet family home and now she was alone on the side of mountain on a desolate rocky ledge. His jade green eyes cast out towards the forest lands below yet seeming highly disinterested, again just as blank as her mood.

Hallie felt so negative and minim at that precised moment. Her world had come crashing down around her, her happy and peaceful world. Only now was the reality of all that had happened was sinking in and at the end of the day she was barely an adult. Fully grown yes but not without still requiring guidance let alone the fact remained that she had never been within a pack in her life before, ever.

<b>ooc;</b> slight GM to have them face each other. if you'd like me to change this, it'd be no problem. xD

From the distance, he had had spotted the stranger. <b>"Idiot, moron. Does the wolf not have a sense of <i>smell</i>?</b> His mutters were silenced as he moved closer. Or maybe this one was just asking for trouble. Honijo sniffed the air, taking everything in. One of the advantages of the destination he had chosen was the ability to scent out intruders from downwind, upwind, hell, wherever the wind blew. He was beginning to learn the clever ways of masking his own scent by creeping around the perimeter of the mountains, and already his sure footing was coming back to him. Not one stumble, not one. Unless of course you were counting the one where he had been distracted by a possible animal of prey. With a hunched figure, Honijo skimmed down the remaining stone levels, rounded the resting figure as best he could before clambering up to suddenly appear on the very same outcrop as he.

The wolf indeed seemed young now that he was closer. Red and mottled cream dashed through his pelt, leaving a sun kissed look that shone with the glow of the sun. If Honijo wasn't such a judgmental prick, he might have thought this other beautiful, but as it was... no such wolf deserved such a compliment, especially not a recent intruder. Hackles bristled and he tilted his crown, yellow eyes peering at the figure who's bright green eyes were casually surveying the landscape until Honijo cleared his throat. Once the female was aware of his presence, the older male spoke, tone laced with a hint of sarcasm, <b>"Beautiful, isn't it? Now mind telling me your business here?"</b> Tail flicked boredly behind him as a light breeze tangled with his mix 'n matched fur. Honijo did not feel threatened by this young female, and so with ease his attitude was creeping up on him.

It's fine with me <3 Though Hallie is a girl not a guy! xD
Still void of more or less every emotion was her life now meaningless without a home and family? These idle thoughts were repeated over and over again in her mind yet nothing important or crucial seemed to register such as being so close to the borders of a new pack or the fact that an unknown adult male wolf had just dropped down behind her onto the rocky outcrop of a ledge she was perched upon. Her ears had been pointed forward yet the moment she noticed his presence was with his first words, her ears now sliding backwards flat against her tiara of russet brown fur.

Turning to face the stranger she could feel her body sinking, the mere tone in his voice held no warmth or enthusiasm for her presence, not like one of her kin or packmates would have shown her. The Midnight Plateau rested directly below, down further then that was the Wildwood though Hallie knew neither of these. They were just nameless woodlands and rocks and while Honijo suggested there was beauty in them she could not any at this point. While she had no answer in mind regarding what she could see she was also struggling to think of what to say about why she was here. A soft shudder running down her spine as her muzzle parted slowly before she begun to explain. "My family.. my pack. They were attacked and I... I'm the only one left." Her bright green gaze unable to lift to meet any part of him. "Please don't hurt me..." She whined softly, though while her pelt was thick and lush there were patches of it missing in places which had not yet grown back, the tell tale signs that she had spent the past month as a slave or omega for the group that attacked her pack.

gah, sorry for that messup! and also, I apologize for the terrible wait. ;-; Forgive me?

She was delicate and nearly frightened out of her wits by the time he so rudely interrupted. As harsh as Honijo might sometimes be, he wasn't entirely heartless and so when he finally stepped down to get a good hard look at this she-wolf, he instantly regretted his rash introduction. She looked frail and small, patches of fur missing here and there along her coat. Dear lord, what had happened to her? A fatherly instinct was kicking in, but from where or what, would remain a mystery. He had only ever nurtured and helped raise the children of his sister, never his own. Yet still the duties ran strong in his veins, never letting up and obviously determined not to let go. His features softened as he listened to the crimson-furred youth explain her situation, of a pack that had attacked her family. And then she said the thing that really got to him, made his heart practically bleed out for her, 'Please don't hurt me."

Honijo took a step closer, bending down slightly so that his resolve was no longer as big, nor was it towering over her quite so scarily-like. <b style='color:#227788'>"I am not like them, these bad wolves you speak of. I am not the type to purposely go out to harm another, let alone an innocent young wolf such as yourself." Honijo sighed and bent down so that he was now sitting beside her, turning away and looking down at the view of all of Relic Lore, missing for the first time his nieces and nephews. <b style='color:#227788'>"I'm Honijo. And what, may I ask, is your name? And how long have you been traveling alone?" Being a lone wolf at this one's age was a dangerous route indeed, and it would be important for him to explain to her just how risky it was if she was not yet entirely aware. Already, Honijo felt himself growing soft all over again and he wasn't quite sure if he approved of this feeling or not.

Np hun <3

As Honijo softened from his originally dominant and strong introduction Hallie begun to relax. Though she still was not settled, for all she knew this was all some cunning trick to get closer to her. Though in her current state so far from home with nothing left she had nothing more to lose. What were the chances of coming across another band of bloodthirsty wolves that wanted her families territory as their own? Least now she had nothing of interest to defend from anyone so anyone without a heart would walk on by and ignore her - least this was her belief. Honijo did seem to be curious about her, though for why he did she did not know.

It was not long before he explicitly wanted to know more details about the young russet and cream yearling, bobbing her muzzle lightly to show that she would co-operate. "My name is Hallie Riott-Kringle." Introducing herself though finding it hard to just add her name rather then talking for ages about her family and where she was from. She was so used to talking endlessly and had been quite the bright gossiping heir of the cadre but right now she did not feel like using her tongue much. "I have been traveling for ages and ages... must be two months now." She sighed, not realising that in fact she had not been a lone wolf for very long at all. But having been in a pack her whole life until recently with little contact from outsiders or other packs she was a bit cut off from what was normal in regards to lone wolves or traveling in general. "Are you a lone wolf too?" She asked curiously finding the courage to start asking questions of her own.
