He swallowed, his eyes sweeping along the gathered as he tried to take them all in. Upon closer inspection did he notice that the other male he had spotted, was indeed not small at all, perhaps an ear shorter than him, but not by much. He rooted his paws in place as the leader continued to speak, and when she finished his brows furrowed together slightly. His golden amber eyes twitched as he heard rustling, as if someone were lowly whispering, but words he could not hear. He once again let his eyes travel upon the wolves within the pack, curious as to why some of them were acting slightly odd. . .or. . .was it him who acted slightly odd? None the less, he let his head turn back towards the female, he still did not know of her name, yet he knew of his now?

He gritted his teeth together in concentration, before his jaws opened and struggled words escaped his mouth, "Narimé, Shade, friends. Loyalty with friends. . . Protect." His amber eyes glowed in confusion at the words that he spoke. They were true but they still didn’t quite make much sense to them. The last words that the leader spoke made him think. . .no, the home wasn’t for the winter. He would sure be able to carry himself on his own if he pleased to. It would really be quite easy. All he would have to do was hunt like he normally did and find good places for shelter. "Home not for cold. Home for family."

His gruff words were truthful but all this talking had made him uncomfortable, and his ears flattened on his head in a submissive gesture, as if begging the female to let him stop speaking, almost as if every time he spoke acid formed on his tongue. His round eyes watched her curiously, taking in her body posture and movements. He wasn’t sure how she would react to his words, but he knew if they were negative and harmful he would have to retreat. He would have been highly outnumbered, and protecting himself was clearly fine with retreating. He would not have to fight back to stay out of harms way, it would only hurt the other.

Elettra Archer
Little attention was paid to her fellow members, whom gathered themselves ether at her side or just behind her as simple back up should things go unwell with the very large stranger at their boarders. She would not catch the glare offered from Remy, nor the nips and snarls sent back between the yearling and the newest male of the pack. She huffs when she hears a bit of chatter, though the most of her attention in drawn to the large, timbered colored male before her. When he spoke, it was choppy and simple and not something particularly a woman of her nature liked. She was of royal breeding and with this spoke correctly and proudly, proper with each breath. Though this man spoke as though he knew little of the language or perhaps had lived far too long on his own to remember it.
She huffs, though listens, her body moving to arch around him once more in interest. Though he spoke little and offered little information by this, Elettra understood the gesture none the less. He knew of Narime and Shade and considered them friends and by this, wanted to be with them, not just for the winter, but to stay. Since obviously Elettra was not going to get far with the man by words, it would be his action which would be judged. "With each new member I allow into this pack, the harder it is on the hunters and the less food we hold. Everyone here is to be pushed to do their best, and I will make sure that you are to be pushed to do the same. Winter will make things much harder on us and we need active wolves in the pack to pull their weight. Hunting will be continuous and watching our boarders against starving rogues will much more challenging..." She speaks this, so that not only he, but everyone else here knew how much of a struggle it will be during the winter and that they must all pull together with further effort than they had already been. Guiness would be quite the mouth to feed, after all.
Her attention shifts over to her members then: Narime, Phineas, Remy, to see what expressions their face may hold to leak their feelings on the new comer, before alas her attention turns to the behemoth once more. "You may join us. I am your leader, Elettra Archer, and this is your second, Remy Geddes." She motions her muzzle to the woman close at her side. Though lacking in her male second and her partner, she held confidence on who had shown up none the less. "Guiness..." She speaks the name which had been given by Narime. "Welcome. I'm sure Narime would not mind showing you around?" Her attention then flutters to the youth of the pack, hoping that she may due her the favor of showing the new wolf about these lands, since they already seemed to know each other well enough to be considered 'friends'. After all, Elettra still had business to do here, and it did not require anyone but Remy herself, to which Elettra's pale attention fell to now.

Narimé's attention was cuaght by Guinness who had spoken her name. She didn't know that he had also met Shade before, but the thought made her smile. Then Elettra looked to her and expecting a job to do Nari stood up straight a bit excited while wagging her tail.

<b style="color:#FFFFFF">"Yes ma'am I will show him around." She smiled happily. Guinness was a part of their pack now. He would do well as a guardian Nari knew this already. She could tell just from the rusty gray males stature and his other siblings that all the Thorbens were strong and noble.

Flicking her tail along his chest she started padding farther into the territory. They had a lot to see. Nari planned on bringing the big guy to the den first and then showing him the herb keeping area, caches, and where they liked to sleep. Then maybe she would bring him out to the borders so he could see and smell the rest of the land that was theirs.(Exit Narimé)

Remy Geddes
<blockquote>Ever so slightly did her dark lip curl in response to Narime's whining. It was not her place to rebuff any of her authority, especially in front of a stranger, but there were bigger things at hand and Remy supposed she would have to allow the misdemeanor to fall.

Her attention returned to the brute still waiting for his fate at their border. So few words... was this a dream? Surely her return after failing at her duty would not provide her with something so pleasant; reality was simply not so kind. And yet, it would appear that this wolf - Guiness - was a sizeable and stoic one indeed. He fell right into Remy's category. Unlike the opposite, Elettra had yet to fail her and the fragment-speaking stranger was allowed to stay.

At her name's mention she rose her head a little higher, hoping that the point was clear. <i>Second</i>, she was still, at least for now. She did like him - at least based off this little interaction alone - but it did not spare him from her frosted glare. Protocal, that's all it was, but every member at least deserved some sort of warning about Remy's hard ass attitude. "<b>Welcome,</b>" she rumbled, her tone monotonous but nonthreatening to balance out her cold glance.

But the day was not over yet. She felt Elettra's stare once again bore into her like thorns in her hide. She did not turn from it, now. There was nothing to do but address the situation. Waiting for the other wolves to clear like smoke, the red-eared woman slowly turned her cheek toward her leader, not meeting her stare directly but acknowledging the look with her own vulnerable eyes. For now, her pale jaws remained shut. </blockquote>

Elettra Archer
If it is alright, can we say that Guiness and Phineas left too? I wanted El to address Remy on her disappearance before this got too old, as I have had most of this written up for awhile now. XD

She awaits them to go, all of them, savor Remy, whom she watches intently by the pale of her silver gaze. She is rigid with tension, with anger, at having been unaware of Remy's whereabouts for so long. She was one of the very few amongst the whole of the pack whom perhaps had the closest understanding of her, a similar background in life and a similar way of thinking. Despite both of their more or less lack of 'happy, friendly and open' nature, they both had hit it off quite well with a secret understanding. An understanding which had been shattered now.
"Where have you BEEN?!" She snaps, turning on the woman with a baring of her teeth, made for anger, to perhaps distract Remy from the obvious hurt in her eyes. From the day they had met, Remy had promised the pack's success with her amongst them, to keep the members strong and in place and, to protect Elettra as her second, her wing-man, should anything arise. Elettra, with the time Koda and both her Seconds had been off doing their own thing, had been left vulnerable to challenge. Be that as it was, the pack had obvious trust in her leadership all on her own, since this had not rose amongst the group. Yet still, Remy had promised to take up her side indefinitely, a promise that Elettra would not allow withdrawn to easily. She longed to know that someone, without question, would always be there for her. "If you ever disappear on me like that again, I will see to it that you are stripped of everything!" Her placement amongst the pack, the role in which she held and superiority of which she held it, perhaps even stripped of the very flesh of her bones should Remy unjustly go missing yet again! There had been no warning of Remy's disappearance and it was for this which Elettra was most upset. It was far unlike the kindly warning for which Elettra was giving her now, and it was because she cared for her, that she offered her this one and final warning. "Never would she be loyal to another leader above Elettra. Never would a duty go unserved. Never would she give anything less than her all to make sure this new pack would grow, thrive, and above all conquer" The hurt caused Elettra Archer to nearly quiver.

Phineas Argyris
Just putting in his exit. <33

The silver she-wolf accepted his flash of dominance with a delicate lick to her chin, and allowing his stoical features to soften to the Yearling, the ivory male gave her a quick nudge to her cheek; one of the first he had given to any of his fellow pack mates. His bright eyes would then focus once more to the newcomer, his large figure shifting as he awaited to see what would become of the man’s presence.

One ear gently flickered in the direction of Narime’s whispering hiss of irritation. Blinking, he cast a quick glance to her, but having not caught the disapproval upon the Second’s features, the male was uncertain as to what she was upset about. Phineas did not question or move to soothe her – the lady Elettra welcomed the stranger to the pack, much as she had with him, and the silver Yearling was requested to show the man around.

His presence no longer required, the Argyris regarded the young Yearling as she made to give a tour to the large newcomer.. and with his untrusting nature, Phineas cast a dip of his muzzle to the other two she-wolves present before slipping after them, pretending not to follow after the younger she-wolf, and yet keeping a watchful eye on her should the male called Guiness not be trustworthy at all.
