NOKTURN IKONIC
WHITE KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR

Coming from the mountains, it was a beautiful site to behold. One could see everything; all the trees, grasslands, rivers, everything really. It was just so beautiful, especially at sunset, when the sun sinks into the horizon and paints the sky purple, orange, and pink. Nokturn stood on one of the mountain boulders near the base of the mountain, admiring the view. It was so beautiful he couldn't take his eyes off of it. The only thing that would make it better would be to have someone else there to share it with. But no one was around; most likely avoiding the mountains. Sighing softly to himself, he began the descent down. He really wasn't that high up, so it only took him a few minutes to reach the base. When he did, he relished the feel of cool grass against his paws. Ah, it was nice to be here.

Looking around to decide where to go, Nokturn heard the faint splashing of water. Turning in the direction of the sound, he walked through the forest, and eventually the sound got louder and louder. Finally he came upon a small glade with a pool against the rock wall and a large sheet of water falling down into it. The water was quite loud, literally roaring in his ears now, but he was still able to hear background noises, such as that of birds and other animals. Realizing how aching his paws were, the male walked down to the water's edge, where he proceeded to leap in. With a splash he was standing in the shallow water, its coolness soothing his aching paws. After a while it got rather chilly, so he stepped out back into the bank. He decided it was getting late, so he'd stay here for tonight. Lowering himself to the ground, he lay beside the water, he face turned towards the horizon, watching the sun move slowly down.

Indru Tainn

The sky was darkening, the sun falling, and Indru found himself restless again and so decided to visit the Falls, a habit he had developed since he was old enough to travel past the pack den. Bramble Falls had become somewhat of a haunt of Marsh he had learned, a lone wolf who Indru had met on two occasions (once at the Falls themselves) and who had done him a favour in returning Borlla, one of his more adventurous siblings. The rushing water soothed the male Tainn, freeing his mind from thoughts and allowing him to relax before he returned to the swift river to sleep, the scents of his family comforting though the absence of his parent's scent still stung.

Indru did not expect to find anyone, except perhaps Marsh, but he could pick up the small trail of another he did not recognise, undeniably lone wolf as he smelt not of the swift river or of his uncle, Honijo. With only a brief hesitation Indru continued on, though perhaps a bit more carefully and cautious until he actually met this wolf. In the faint light left in the evening he could make out a white wolf by the side of the pooling water soon after he left the trees of Sacred Grove and Indru approached him slowly thought not without confidence. Hey there. Voice pitched just so that it carried over the water, without begin startling, Indru waited for the wolf's response, the first sign of whether this stranger would be hostile or friendly.

NOKTURN IKONIC
WHITE KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR

Nokturn hadn't been lying there long when a greeting floated across the breeze towards him, interrupting his peace. Twisting his head over his shoulder, Nokturn saw another male standing there, farther away from him. His greeting was calm, as he slowly walked foreword. Turning his head back to the water, he felt no threat from this new male, so he continued to listen to the water for a few seconds more before standing up. He turned to face the male, a smile upon his features. "Lovely day, is it not?" he returned the greeting to the strange male, gazing into the sky.

Looking back at the male, he took a step back with his left foot before bowing his head down to the ground. It was not a mocking gesture, and he was not trying to act snotty. It was just the way Nokturn worked. He liked to act nice towards other wolves, showing them the respect they deserved. "I am Nokturn Ikonic, a loner just passing through these parts. Who might you be?" he introduced, raising his head slowly to stare into the stranger's eyes. He found you could tell a lot about someone by staring at their eyes. Killers had cold eyes, while gentle wolves had warm, sparkling eyes. Although he could not tell a wolf's personality from reading their eyes, as that would be impossible, Nokturn assumed this wolf was no threat to him, at least not yet. If he really had been looking to harm Nokturn he would have just snuck up to him and snapped his neck.

Indru Tainn
Edit: Fading to black to conclude this thread. :D

Tactics were somewhat a strong point for Indru, unlike Ruiko his actions and speech were often thought about before being performed allowing him to appear more amicable than his brother on first appearance sometimes. It was an important skill to be a good leader his father had always told him, so Indru always tried to make sure he was not led by hotheaded behaviour, and in this case his chosen actions seemed to have worked. It is, the River wolf agreed, glancing around him in admiration before nodding slightly, a small smile on his face. The loner offered him a small bow of respect and Indru dipped his head lower again in return as though he was a leader of a pack, this wolf was not part of it.

The male introduced himself and Indru's thoughts were confirmed when he said he was a lone wolf, he held no pack scents on his fur. Indru Tainn, the boy offered in return to the question Nokturn had asked him, Leader of the pack on the Swift River. The wolf may be aware of their borders — Indru knew they were strongly marked and they weren't too far from these Falls, but if he had not he was not going to share his exact location to a wolf who did not need to know it. What brought you to Relic Lore? This grand forest. A smile crossed his face as he spoke, his paw raising to gesture to the trees around them, before he placed it back down. The question was one that had puzzled all his siblings who had lived here all their life and saw it all as their home in a way, even if they had claimed only a small part.

The pair of wolves continued to talk, Nokturn expressing that he was unsure if he would stay in Relic Lore for long, and after a while Indru decided he should return to his pack. With a friendly farewell nod he turned and left Nokturn to decide on his next adventure.
