Triell Tainn

    If I go crazy then will you stillcall me superman?
Eyes stretching across the way he tried to read the brown mask, and golden eyes. She had looked relieved to see she wouldn't be alone with Ice and his temper. Ice was in full guardian mode, and Triell was still trying to catch his breath, trying to let his brain catch up what had happened and was falling before his eyes. Blaze seemed to lose all the life and fire of getting them back he had had seconds ago in the Grove. He could wait, especially by sadly pleading for his life he wasn't about to really get up and walk away. Unless it was a ruse? No matter, he had plenty of stamina if he decided to run. It eased his mind, but angry Ice and Naira not so much.How easily that emotion could be transferred from one target to the next. Triell didn't want to play his usual part of breaking up a fight between his two friends. Ice probably didn't understand why seeing her wasn't a total outrage to him either. There wasn't a whole time to explain, not like this. There was not a lot of logic in emotional chaos.

Think.

Treill had to hold back as Ice lashed at the tawny wolf, his words alone making her react. Triell had to some extent cussed her out too, and it was best the silver wolf got it off his chest. Bottling up could prove to be worse. As it seem he had not heard a word out of the black wolf's mouth. Or was it sinking in no need to worry about her? Why couldn't he sooth the tension? Naira stayed firmly, even as the large river wolf moved closer. It wasn't strange for Triell to see Ice's anger, but it had been awhile since either one of them had been this mad. He would not feel sorry for their victum. He wanted to string his carcass around Swift River. Would that keep them out?

The white wolf moved, Triell fell in sync, and paused. A deep growl grew in his chest after Ice had spoke, but Triell was merely a back up. Ice should make him pay the price, and he gave a simple nod for the pale wolf to continue. If Blaze thought, or it seemed it needed to be quicker Tri would join in.

NPCing Blaze per Namara's wish. :)

Nothing but a guttural gurgle answered him, and after all this, it was a bit anti-climactic. Receiving only a nod from Triell Ice planted his right paw on Blaze's head, and the other on his shoulder, pinning him to the ground with his weight. That one who spat so many curses, and so viciously tried to resist their attempts at evicting him, could be defeated so easily. Some deep, primal part of him had been looking forward to a fight, to the clash and snap of teeth and the frantic movement of bodies. He had wanted to feel flesh between his teeth and blood on his lips, but not given like this, like a lamb led to the altar for sacrifice.

Disgusted, Ice lowered his head and snapped his jaws shut around Blaze's throat, crushing the trachea between his teeth and tearing through his jugular. Coughing, gurgling and spasming, the defeated wolf passed from this world, bleeding out upon Ice's white paws and staining his chest and legs before the pressure in his veins eased off. Growling deep in his chest the River Guardian backed away from the corpse and its erratic death twitches, and with something blanked-out, mad, in his eyes, he turned to look at Naira. She was cowering somewhat, seemed suspended between fight or flight, and with blood dripping from his jaws he took a single, menacing step forward.

But then he remembered things — two wolves rolling side by side in the Ghastly Woods, laughing and rubbing their skins against the roots and ground before felling a deer together. He remembered her wet shape as she'd risked her life for Kisla. There was a whole lot of pain there, too, ending at the knife's tip: she's not the enemy here. But they had done away with the enemy, hadn't they? They'd killed the loner, his body nothing but a lifeless husk — didn't that make her the new enemy, then? Had it only been a matter of priority? Slowly his lips fell to cover his teeth, and the growls subsided to harsh breaths as he turned to look at Triell, confusion in his eyes. Would he say again, that she wasn't the enemy?

Or would they, together, tear her apart?

Crappy post is crappy. Sorry ;_;

Ice focused on the task at hand and she should have taken her opportunity to run, but something held her place. Perhaps she expected more... some dramatic clash, ripping and snarling? Maybe she expected him to care more that he was about to die... But Numpty just lay there, and it was all over before it had even begun.

Her breath was coming in shallow pants as she realised those cold silver eyes had been turned on her. Making her own eyes wide enough to show the whites and clearly looking away, she kept the pale wolf in her peripherals. Her tail had all but vanished beneath her stomach and her ears were flattened. Suddenly, she wished she were anywhere else. Some small part of her questioned whether Triell truly was her friend in this instance? Ice was his pack, his family, and she was more than in the wrong place at the wrong time. She wanted to run but her legs quaked beneath her. Could she get away if she wanted to? Did she even want to?

She had been relegated to Lowest, her children didn’t know who she was and her mate was lost. What was the point? The shaking had moved further up her body now until her whole frame was wracked with shaking and her head was filled with the scent of blood. A nervous whine escaped her chest as her eyes momentarily darted to Triell then back to the ground. She didn't want to run, but she couldn't see any other way to get out of this alive.

She turned on her tail and ran like her life depended on it.
