Rosealia Slayer
Shade had chosen to scout ahead, but she hadn't minded. After all, he was just trying to protect her, and for that, she was grateful. It was nice to feel wanted. Her tail swished behind her as she walked. Her paws were like feathers on the steadily melting ice. Spring was coming right around the corner. It haunted her still, like the glowing eyes in the dark. The sun was halfway across the sky. It was a little past noon, and the sun warmed her pelt. All thoughts of winter passed her brain. She didn't care, since all of the torture that came with the snow and freezing temperatures was nearing a finish. Her eyes fell upon a little squirrel, following it up the tree with her soft yellow gaze. Finally, she came to a familiar clearing. Her nose rose to the air and she smirked. "Shade? Where are you?" Her eyes glimmered playfully. "When you said you would scout ahead, I didn't think you planned on going leprechaun hunting!"

She giggled a little, gazing around and taking it all in. The falls roared peacefully, little bits of melting ice sat between the shore and the water. The shards of clear and white ice resembled glass. She wouldn't dare mess with it because her pawpads were just warming up to the sunlight on the ground she was standing in. Pleased with her surroundings, Rose stood and enjoyed it. She had no idea what else to do, and Shade was goofing off somewhere, probably sidetracked by something out of the blue.

Shade Slayer

Shade glanced at Rosealia as he arrived at the falls. They were taking a short trip away from the trail they were going to follow. He wanted to visit this place, to show it to Rosealia, this was like a sacred place to him. “I told you it would be worth the visit before we left. Then we can get in some training too, with water to keep us hydrated as well. If we can get to the water that is. Not sure with all this ice. Of course there is always training on the way, but we can train here when we're not adventuring.” He whispered to her, the falls were somewhat frozen, perhaps if he put pressure on the ice, it might crack, if not, they could go without a drink for a bit. It was father cold, despite the mid afternoon sun peeking in from behind the clouds.

Shade wanted to make sure that he could be there for Rosealia, this was one of the ways he intended to do so. He would train her up to be a strong girl and she would beat Skana for the second position in the Willow Ridge rankings. He had a lot on his mind about what to do with the breeding season approaching, he and Rose wanted to see each other in that time, but not breed. His instincts would take over him, he knew that much.

Shade’s tail drooped, he was ready to be himself, and he would pose no dominance, despite him being leader of Willow Ridge now. There was no need for it; after all it was just a time for him to hang out with the love of his life. He would ruin the moment if he demanded dominance from the lady whom he respected and she respected him just as much.

Faol
curious, fearless, yet held of high regard
behold the rogue! Faol Bayard.

Ooc: I didn't catch any description of weather/time of day so I'm just playing it up a little. Hope you don't mind.

After waking up from a well needed mid-afternoon nap Faol found his thirst had grown immensely. He usually didn't reside in one place for more than one night, but the past few moons he had dug a shallow den just deep enough to cover his large body. He had grown tired of laying atop thick snow and makeshift bedding, this season had left little foliage for his disposal. Faol wasn't particularly xeric but he didn't like waking up to fur dampened to the point of freezing. The black male had stumbled across the Falls by chance as he was making himself better acquainted with the area. His current den location was relatively close to the watering hole, but far enough away that he wouldn't be constantly disturbed by animals that were seeking water. As mysterious as the male seemed, he didn't want to be thought of as the troll under the bridge. Being a loner since a very young age he had grown a very close bond with nature and his respect for his surroundings. It sheltered him and fed him, but it also dictated his travels and his way of life.

Rising from his shabby home he let his memory carry him back to where he had first greeted the falls. His path through the snow was still visible from the lack of snow, but had been disturbed by the occasional straight line of deer prints, or the leap and drag of a rabbit. Perhaps he would settle for a small morsel as they seemed rampant about the area, and a lone wolf can take all the nourishment he can get. As the sound of the falls reached his ears, so did the muffled sounds of voices. Immediately he slowed his pace, eyes seeking out the culprits that intruded on his stroll. He could have guessed that he would be accompanied by others soon, but their sudden appearance didn't necessarily make him happy. His demeanor quickly switched to one of leisure to one of curiosity.

The two figures scent's reached his nose before their image did, but he could tell now that there were two wolves. One female and one male. A distinct pharamone lingered in the air between them and he inhaled deeply, surely jealous of the bond these two shared. It sent a spark of nostalgia throughout his brain and a swift feeling of envy. However, it also caused his guard to raise and he knew how unexpected meetings like this usually turned out. Even if he didn't want to particularly disturb the couple, he would defend himself if need be. The large male made sure to circle behind the wolves and come out of the brush a good distance from the two. He said nothing upon his arrival, not pretending to be surprised at heir appearance.

Shade Slayer
[As of this round, we are skipping Abbie for now and it will be Shade, @Faol, @Rosealia]

Shade gazed at the man in curiosity. The couple had decided to leave the Willow's for good, and he wondered about loner life once more. His father of course, was not right about packs nor loners. "I am Shade, might I ask your name, I search not for a fight." He told the male in a friendly tone, hoping that he would return the attitude of kindness. He honestly could not afford a fight that he was to lose or win. He would not afford the injuries in the fight either. The scents of the Willow's had faded off of him by now.

His tail had a slight wag, but other then that it was lax, failing to move up or curled under his belly. There was no need for demanding dominance from any of the wolves in front of him so he just left it at that. The curious glint in his eye said it all, he was just curious as to what the male wanted. If he was like Shade and Rose, leaving a pack, or searching for a new one, or even going as far as to want to join a pack. Shade knew of good packs, and he knew of bad packs. Well, not so much as bad packs, as packs with good and bad leaders. It depended.

He gazed at Rose, nuzzling her a bit before looking again at the loner. He purely wanted to recruit members to try and raise a pack, as he and Rose had agreed on, but finding such members took time to weed out the good from the bad. Finding pack members that they could get along with.

Faol
If you're not looking for a fight, you won't find one," he reassured the dark colored male before him. Faol was grateful that this wolf didn't plan on staking his claim, or showing off for the female that accompanied him. It was few and far between that there was no gnashing of teeth when amongst females in the wild. His intrest in the two however was spiked when he noticed that they were not cloaked in the scent of a pack, but carried their own musk. Perhaps they were lost lovers? Or just two wolves who fancied time alone in the woods. Faol could understand that, it was sure. Taking a gander at the two wolves he licked his maw thirstily; he could hear the sound of the falls rushing and they provoked him. He wasn't a wolf on a schedule, but he doubted the three of them who met upon chance would stand around and make small talk just for the benefit of socialization.

He watched as the male nuzzled his partner, she was a pretty thing, and he felt his teeth clench in jealousy. Not for the girl particularly, but because it had been so long since he last felt a touch against his own. Yellow eyes nearly rolled away from the couple, disusing his angst with the appearance of boredom. Although he faced away from the two, his pepper colored ears point in their direction. " Is there something you have come looking for? Possibly I could point you on your way," he said. Faol wasn't trying to being particularly helpful, but he wanted his solitude back. Much like the troll under a bridge might. Oh, how he loathed being the troll.

Shade Slayer
{Sorry this took forever}

Shade glanced at Faol as he assured there would be no fight. When he asked about him Faol pointing him Shade in the right direction, Shade responded. “My mate and I are heading over the mountain to raise a new pack. We’re searching for members too.” He said calmly, his eyes filled with caution. His tail wagging slightly from side to side, this wolf was not aggressive or anything. He had a lot on his mind and he felt like he was going way to fast and rushing into things. But there were no regrets. He was even starting to get those gray hairs on is muzzle, but they weren’t bad for the older wolf. He wasn’t that old yet.

They had decided to leave, however they hadn’t left yet, they were still ‘in the pack.’ They had a plan, and it involved treason, conceiving pups to rise as their own far away from Elettra’s rule. They were merely out to start getting away and moving away. Rose would be in heat soon, he knew, it was already starting to happen. He was calm though, he knew that everything would work in the end. They would stay together and make it through all. After all, they were each other’s pride and they were soul mates. Even in rough times they had stayed together. “What about you? Are you in need for something or someone?” He asked, almost as if asking he was looking for a pack, though not specifically stating it.
