Capella Destae
{Chetan} only please c:
Capella's off-white coat played on the evening light. Reds and purples shone from the sky, bathing the world in a sea of colors. The usual mist that donned the forest floor was somewhat lessened this night, though still present. Instead of the eerie blue color she'd become accustomed to, rested a more yellowed fog. Her spine prickled as the habitual feeling of being watched crept in. At this point she had grown used to it, but that didn't make her oblivious to the fact. The young wolf padded through the trees, dodging the limbs protruding in every which direction. Tonight was unlike many other nights. Tonight no fear rested within her heart, and she didn't fear her usual nightmares.

A jet black nose gripped at the air, inhaling the scents of the forest. The only trails she could pick up were that of prey and her soon to be pack mates. Soon she hoped they would claim their pack, and begin enforcing boarders. Though she had met many wolves because of the lack of a boarder, she still would feel safer if they were to start protecting them. Even if it were just for Rosealia's pups, who would be safer in a pack setting. As there were no scent markers, others didn't know to stay away, and Capella didn't feel right turning anyone away. Well, that or she was too accepting of new wolves. She had quite a flaw in trusting others too quickly.

It wasn't long before the girl came across a tree that was lower to the ground than it's surrounding cousins. The tree held various birds and bugs nestling in for the night. A small part of her desired to disturb them. Maybe it was the pup in her begging to be let out. She had to resist the urge to yip at them so that they would fly in different directions for her to chase. She could almost laugh at herself. Thoughts like that hadn't crossed her mind in a while. At the tender age of only fourteen months, they probably should have filtered their way into her thoughts a lot more. Was there something wrong with her? Ever since she lost her small family and began fending for herself everything had changed. The old her longed for the day it could break through the cracks.

Chetan Su Namun

Superheroes had secrets, they enjoyed secrets and kept things hidden for no one to see. Their identity was shrouded behind an enigmatic cloud and only those closest to the heart of the hero would see a glimpse of who he really was. Chetan had a secret as well, one instilled in the heart yet bounded by silence upon the tongue. He couldn’t speak and refused to share the inner depths of his thoughts with anyone else. Secluded, private and away from the rest of the world he knew some things were safe. But then again, he was no superhero. He was just an ordinary, normal wolf.

And now he was lost within another territory, another place that held no name except for the daunting feeling that he got from Spectral Woods. The sound of his paws crunching the forest-like underground was the only sound he heard, other than that there was only the lingering silence. Some found peace, solitude and a calm mind within this place but he wasn’t. Instead his golden eyes often dwindled around the scenery with a newfound suspicion as he was certain that someone or something was watching. Strangely it recalled a déjà vu that he felt before but it could not be said with words alone.

When birds suddenly flew up and a strange yipping could be heard his assumptions of the supernatural hiding about was confirmed. Adopting a poker-face façade the golden male roamed through the forest with his ears half flattened, like a superhero trying to protect himself. When his eyes finally fell upon the finesse of a young female, Chetan couldn’t help but to speak out loud. ”Look’s like you’ve seen a ghost..” Or was it actually the other way around?

Capella knew he was coming. She could hear him moving through the forest. His scent filled the air around her, she just hadn't caught sight of the male. As of late, many loners had been passing through the area. She was growing used to the scent of new wolves, and for that she was undecided. The off-white girl loved company, she actually enjoyed speaking with others, and learning about them. Though, that was likely her insatiable curiosity getting the better of her. On the other hand, she disliked the fact that so many loners had passed through the area. It was always possible that they could pose a threat to her family, especially with newborn pups wriggling in their dens. For that reason, she tried to be vague when it came to speaking about Rosealia's pups.

The multicolored male walked into her line of vision, announcing himself with a question. She couldn't help but smile, as he wasn't far off. Everyone knew of the forest's power, and if they didn't, they would soon after being here. It was constantly playing with your mind, toying with you. The mist called to strangers, pulling them into it's depths, only to turn them around and blind their senses. The constant fog lessened your vision, and your sense of smell. The ringing in your ears from the silence sometimes made you hear things. Strange, but Capella had grown used to the forest, and it's secrets. It had a mind of it's own, but she loved it here. The only downside was the nightmares, which she felt was brought on by the forest itself. She never had them before they settled here. Regardless though, she really did like it here.

The smile on her face was light, barely noticeable as she spoke. "Are you sure it isn't you who has seen a ghost?" Her dandelion eyes held a playful hint as they fell across his coat, taking note that he wasn't a white wolf as the last three were. The stranger in front of her held a much larger build, and for that she should have been worried, but Capella wasn't sure if she could be wary of strangers anymore. She held too much trust in them for her own good.
