It was late in the evening when the sun began its descend below the rugged terrain to darken the great land before it to return it to its usually slumber. The eerie silence of the night faded as the grey sky above grew darker and darker. Small patches of stars began to show as a light gust of cool wind sent the new spring leaves on the branches in a frenzy while low echos of rustling creatures and spooky sound could be heard faintly in the distance. The once lively earth below settled into the peaceful night as temperatures slowly dropped along with the brilliant sun.

While wolves and other creatures would probably be heading in for the night, a fairly large sized creature trotted across the open floor in a steady elegant stride as he made his way into the grassy fields. His steps careful as the lupus dark citrine digits flickered over the open field uneasy, the unearthly silent calls sent a chill down his spine as another gust of wind rushed through his thick fur. Ears twitched when a low moan was heard and a low growl rumbled in his chest, Maverick swift pace slowed while he tried to find the source of this noise.

The black headed canine was lost once more, unfamiliar with the land he just happen to stumble on. His eyes shifted when he thought he saw a shadowy figure to his left, the four year old wolf halted as another low grumble rumbled in this chest and slipped out of his slightly parted muzzle. His dark colored withers stood on end while the male tried to find the creature that stalked him in the night. The lupus coal lips peeled back slightly to show his pearly canines as a deep snarl ripped through his throat, warm eyes darken as they followed the shadows in the distance.

But as the shadowy figure closed in on the tensed black and deep golden lupus, Maverick huffed in frustration when a little fox appeared in a few strides before him.His expression fell into annoyance as the fox stopped when it saw the large wolf who observed it. The little canine's large ears erected, it stance tall, and tiny digits locked on Maverick cold gaze. With another furious snarl that ripped out of the canines throat and a challenging step forward, the fox darted away from the orange eyed creature. A satisfied smirk softly spreed across the lupus blacken lips as he returned to his normal stance, head high with pride and tail up slightly curled towards his back as the battled worn wolf held his casually very confident stance. A softly chuckle came from the scared face creature before he returned to his pace of a casual stroll, unsure of really where he was heading being already lost in the fields.

simply couldn't resist! <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#EC487E;"> <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#3F7240;">
Early that afternoon Ana had set to take a trip down south to Bramble Falls and had wound up talking to someone new. It was refreshing meeting someone new though it also scared her. Though she stayed emotionally and mentally strong through hard times, she did not have the strength to really fight her own battle against wolves built a certain way. She probably couldn’t take down a large male nor could she solo a single doe. Anastasia simply had not been made that way. Her physique was girly, for lack of a better word. Some would say that she mimicked the ideal curves of a woman, though she wasn’t vain enough to flaunt them to those she met. Her kindness and patience would be the only attributes she would flaunt in public.
As her afternoon trip turned into an evening jaunt, she had rounded her way northwest away from the Ghastly Woods but had been intrigued by the very smell that drifted further north. She didn’t close in towards the Springs where she was sure a worried Lachesis would be waiting, but rather she moved towards the Fields that smelled so delicious. Anastasia was an Aeolian; wind-blown towards the course that she was so attracted to and it to her. From the smell of things she wasn’t the only one who ventured closer to the brambles of the field—it seemed a fox had frolicked its way into a predator’s home and within seconds the prey vanished.
It took her a few seconds to peel her cerulean eyes from the vanishing figure of the fox but once they left, she looked upon the dark figure of the predator. He was large, assumingly so that he would tower over her in an instance and rip her to pieces. It was these sort of males that had her scared—the type of male that seemingly were bred within her birth home. The kind that took what they wanted without giving back. But in fear she stood still, telling herself not to judge and to not overstep her boundaries or give him reason to attack.
