Welcome to RoW little Elliot and Aphrodite!!<333
Her whole life, her whole existence led up to this very moment. This moment where'd she'd give birth to innocent, new life. Athena had been having subtle contractions all day, but they would only last about ten seconds and only came maybe once and hour. However, as soon as her contractions gained strength and frequency, she knew it would be anytime now. Moving as quickly as she could, she found the den that she chose to give birth to her cubs. The den was relatively close to Naira's old birthing den, where Athena had raised Belladonna and Datura, but this year she wouldn't chose the old leader's den, she'd have her own to claim.
Once she was inside the den, she laid down and let her instincts take over. Heavy panting could be heard outside of the den as the contractions got stronger and soon she felt the warm wetness behind her signaling the start of labor. Time seemed to pass in slow motion. It felt like an eternity before she felt the instinct to push. Within that eternity, a small brown bundle of fur escaped her. Snapping the cord that connected them, she nudged the quiet boy until he was properly suckling. Cleaning the placenta off of him, she felt the instinct to push once more. This time she heard the screams of her white daughter before she felt her escaped the womb that she inhabited for several months now. She would soon realize the strength of her daughter's voice. Quickly biting the umbilical cord once again, the exhausted mother nudged the loud girl towards her belly, so she could nurse next to her brother.
Athena, now exhausted, but still overjoyed, she waited for more contractions, but none came. Once again, she was graced with two children. This time they were truly her own, her own flesh and blood. This time, she would more determined than ever to not lose them. Her fiery eyes gazed at her two cubs as she thought of names. A part of her wished for their father to be present, but another part of her knew that in the end she'd always be alone caring for her loved ones without a stable man next to her. However, the more she thought about it, she has had a stable man next to her. Ash, her loyal Guardian, had been here since the beginning of her rule and he has given her every ounce of himself. But, through trial and error, Athena has learned that she doesn't need any man to complete her or help her rule her own kingdom. She was a matriarch and one that didn't need the presence of another.
