Haine - You discover an unguarded cache and feast to your heart's content!

I really don't want her to die but she does need an arse whooping to give her back her perspective. She's a bit special...and Ace's whole 'Stand Up' broke her brain.

Rain, rain, rain. It has rained for days and now finally a break can be seen in the weather, sunlight filtering through the thick canopy like lights dancing off a disco ball. Damp fur sits flat against hollowed sides as the brown child walks alone. Always so alone.

Ears prick forward and nose breathes in deeply as the wind whips the ever tempting scent of a feast to the starving girl and she salivates but pauses, the tell-tale scent of a border clear. Stand up. his mouth had said. Do as you wish. unspoken words had sung to her.

Perhaps all packs here are strange and welcoming? Perhaps she is welcome to come and go as she pleases?

With a dismissive chuff she steps forward, her nose dropping to the leaf laden ground to seek what the wind decided to gift to her. Well marked earth betrays the cache as the emaciated girls stomach grumbles. For a moment, her eyes dart about wearily, her ears swiveling like satellites just in case. When no beasts come tearing from the trees, she begins to push aside what small concealments had been made, her eyes falling on a feast fit for a queen. Without further ado she makes short work of what had once been a cache, food stored away for the coming cold months and she gorges herself until her sides bulge.

The brown wolf moves a short distance away, but is still well within this new packs lands. She makes herself comfortable, and settles down with half lidded eyes to sleep off some of the excess - enough that she can continue to explore her new home more comfortably and find the rest of her new family when she awakes.

Triell Tainn
if you want to do rolls we can, but don't matter to me.

And I am the Rain King
A mouth full of beaver he was proudly carrying it back to not only see pups faces, but perhaps lighten the dampened spirits from rain, and the absence of Ice. Even with the thought of the pale wolf, Triell did not falter on his course. His dark limbs worked harder. The vision in his head was soon crumpled. There was a tainted scent, a stranger, a vagabond in his home. Dark hair bristling down his spine, he did not drop his catch, but lifted his head, trailing it. Thankfully, it did not head off to the den. It was leading him down a familiar trail where was stored one cache of the many they needed to survive the winter.

What kind of fool? The dark man had every intention of finding out. Dropping the beaver beside the base of an oak, leathery nostrils tested again, but he was the sole tracker of this idiot. Good. He was ready, and nothing else to worry about this instant. He came to the meal hold, and it was plain to see it had been torn into, and scarfed down. Unsurprised, yet agitated his ears pinned to his skull. Another mental case? Creeping forward, fiery eyes sweeping across the blue haze, it didn't seem like he was far behind. Come out, come out where ever you are.

The Tainn quietly continued his hunt, the scent of the wolf stronger on the breeze. A lone female it was. Why was she still here? He would think her scent would grow weak as her trail grew long. Awe, off by the withering grass, beneath the thinning tree limbs there was the evidence in the swollen sides of the miserable looking creature who was resting with her full belly.

"Hey, feather brains! You wouldn't want to forget the free ass kicking with your meal."

Corinna Donata
Since I'm replying to this one, I don't think I will with the one with her and Tesla, otherwise weird liquid time things. Up to you guys if you want to do a roll or if you'd like to just play it by ear. Promise Cori won't bite too hard =p

Gone Tomorrow

The break in the borders was enough to set Corinna on edge. She'd grown lax at keeping her borders well marked while the rain fell, but she had wanted to take advantage of the sunlight to remark them. It was supposed to be routine, nothing unusual. But all that changed soon enough. The strange scent had Corinna's attention, but summoned her rage when it crossed the invisible border into the pack's territory. Hair rising along her back, she had wasted no time in charging after the stranger who had dared to ignore Oak Tree Bend's sovereignty over these lands.

The scent was fresh, but more than an hour old. Despite Corinna's adrenaline urging her forward as quickly as she could go, there was no telling what mischief the lone wolf would get into before the leader caught up to her. Any mischief was bad, but Cori fervently hoped that the lone wolf did not come across Serach or Sceral out on one of their adventures. For once, she thought, I hope they just stayed home.

Despite how alone she might often feel, the truth was that there were still plenty of wolves all around her who were quick to come to her aid if needed. Her route had led her to the opposite side of Samhaine, and even as the lone wolf came into view, Corinna was grateful to see Triell's familiar face across from her on the other side. Between the two pissed off leaders, it wasn't likely that the lone female, curled up after having seemingly gorged herself on one of the pack's caches, would make it out of here without having received a very painful lesson.

Wasting no time on words, the female leader snarled and leaped forward, hopefully to startle the girl and force her to her feet.

Kisla Baranski
The tension coiled thick in the air -- it surpassed the rain that washed the mud slick against their borders and tore the final autumn leaves from their perch. The weather had barely lightened in days, and the golden pelt of the she-wolf clung to the delicate curves of the beast in the aftermath and dampness that still clung to the air despite the flickering sunshine that filtered the trees. Her nose would stray to a certain mark here and there, each faded from mother nature's tears, and yet the gentle breeze that whipped past and coiled her pelt brought with it the hint of another. Kisla inhaled sharply, stunned momentarily at the thought that another had even dared to so brazenly trek in to her home.

She was not far, and as her pace quickened, her hackles bristling with the mere thought of what another could do within the borders of their home, she was close enough to hear her uncle's threat. She emerged from the brush, sliding up beside him, her inked lips pulled back to reveal glossy teeth as a snarl erupted from her.. guttural with outrage. A flash of silver caught her eye then -- her mother darted forward, enraged as well, and Kisla tensed then, barely holding herself back from leaping to the fray and at her mother's side.

Instead, her eyes fell coldly upon the stranger, only then catching the scent of a disturbed cache, oh so faintly. Her creamy paws clutched the earth, her tail lashed. Her gaze darted up to regard Corinna and then Triell, awaiting their command.

No need for dice roll :) She'll take whats coming. She's a fruit loop.

Tell-tale rustling. Approaching steps. The brown girl’s tail beats against the ground in welcome, still coated with splotches of mud from the bog in which Pitch Pine Trail had made their home. Legs and belly also carry the thick mirey muck that even the heavy rains haven’t washed away yet, but she is sure with time in her new home her coat will be as clean as it once had been.

Hey, feather brains! You wouldn't want to forget the free ass kicking with your meal.

Such a strong voice. Her heart sings Yes! Yes this will be a good home! Get Up. the voice echoes in her head and so she does, tail arching merrily over her back in a wag of greeting - after all, she must be the boss if she is told to get up by strange men who should be telling her to roll over. The second wolf barreling at her flank goes unnoticed until it collides solidly against her bony ribs. The familiarity of the situation is enough to pull a yelp from her chest as she rolls. Flat on her back with her tail pulled tight to her belly a whine of appeasement leaves her chest and she wriggles, tipping her head to the side, daring only to look at the toes of the wolf who had knocked her clean over. Please! Please! I’ll be good! I’m not the boss! Sorrysorrysorry! Pink tongue darts in and out of her mouth, licking at empty air.

She is reluctant to expose her throat but knows to fully submit she must or she will be killed for sure. Slowly her head tips back, her body tense and waiting for the sharp sting of teeth cutting off her air supply while her mind reels in confusion. Get up. Get down. You’re the boss. I’m the boss. Life away from Master was far more confusing than she had ever thought would be possible.

Beelzebub
here comes beelzebub to disrupt the 'river wolves' once again. idk if you want me to make a roll for the attack, since he is not really trying to /fight/ anyone, just get them out of the way so him and haine can book it. let me know!

It had been days, more, since he had left the Pitch Pine Trail wolves in the dust, content to move from the home surrounded by muck and grim within swamplands fitting for only insects and vermin. The sickly trees had been opened to a thicker vale and a cloak of darkness in the fog and shadow. It had rained for days now, days which he kept to himself, trailing on north with a scent in his nose and a determination on his mind. He would find her, this was a certainty, though what he did with his time until then was yet something else... Something else, as the new scent which graced his senses. The Oak Tree Bend wolves were far from stranger to him. He had trespassed upon their home once before and as he neared the commotion, it became more and more certain that he would do so once more. Though the male's scent he had crossed before was long gone, Corinna was in the air as before and it was she, amongst the rest, which he scanned towards with silvered eyes now. The one of the ground was obvious rogue, not of their scent and not of them, and the quick witted male male his decision then. He charged forth quick, only sounding his arrival with a loud growl when he was already upon the group of Oak wolves. Head leveled with his spine, ears back yet tail high, his every intention was to slam his shoulder into Corinna's side with a push out of the way, so that the laying woman's attention would be forced to him and him alone. "Go, foolish wench. Run!" And with his demands to Samhain to get her moving, he quickly to aimed to flee the scene. His entry into the pack lands would be as quick as his exit. And why defend her? Why of course, she was a thief, as he, a disruption to structure. If he saved her, perhaps, he could use her for having some some 'great and valiant' deed as saving her life.

Triell Tainn
All the stuff....
I'll leave that up to Shadow Vami. :3 But if you want me to roll one for Triell's attack pm me.

And I am the Rain King
No ears? It was his second thought, the way she thumped her tail as if he was bringing her desert. He had every intention of instilling his threat, but her actions made him pause. Did she have the sickness? The one that turned brains to mush, one second harmless idiot, than attacking maniac full of poison?

The Tainn was frozen, held prisoner by the vision of blood squirting across his fiery gaze, the wild snarls of Marsh ripping through the back of his skull. The cold was moving in, and his body didn't want to breathe. Corinna's silver figure announced her arrival, moving to action and Triell snapped from the memory. A momentary flinch when realizing Kisla was beside him, adding her own outrage. Thankful for his backup for many a reason, he only nodded to Kisla. It was up to her to join the fray or watch because she was an adult as far as he was concerned. With heat rushing back to his limbs, raising his guard hairs, he moved forward.

He had every intention to lay into the female. A fifth wolf was added to the fray, and the dark man did not like his warning. He didn't like the fact he did not belong here either. That raised tail, Triell wanted it to be his undoing. When the loner was aiming toward Cori, it didn't take thought for Triell's paws to charge toward the silvery brute course, his mouth agape in hopes to grab the bastard by his coat. Who knew stick-for-brains had a friend?

Can roll if wanted.. it's up to everyone what they want to do. <3

The intruder was so very quick to flip to her back as Corinna barreled her – the purest of submissions bestowed to them, and yet before she could blink, another was upon the scene. It happened quite fast – the rise of his tail flagging them his pride and challenge, the way he made to push in to her mother’s side and knock her down.

A barking growl escaped the tawny female then, her back paws digging to the ground as she leapt forward, missing Triell’s nod for her to join them – no one would touch her mother that way. Triell was faster than her, his jaws gaping to grab on to the offending male’s fur, and as she was ready to snap her jaws at a carefully aimed blow to his hind limbs and perhaps grip one, this maneuver did not happen the moment the silver male ushered a harsh order to the she-wolf who had stolen from them.

Whether it was cowardly or not to attack a wolf who so fully disposed herself to them, the idea of the initial intruder escaping without reprimand for taking food practically out of her little brother’s mouths was not something she was willing to accept, and spinning, a low growl slipped past her as she made snapped her jaws in the direction of the strange she-wolf, hoping to grasp the fur around her nape and hold her down while Triell and Corinna dealt with the male. So enraged, Kisla could barely take in the flurry of activity around her as she made for this grab, uncertain if her youthful jaws would even connect to flesh and fur.

Okay, I went ahead and rolled for Cori's attack against Beelz. You can see the thread here. In the roll, Cori would have knocked Beelz out, so I decided to treat the roll as a way to determine if she successfully hit him or not.

Also, new post order since Rachel skipped me: Samhaine, Beelzebub, Triell, Kisla, Corinna.

Gone Tomorrow

Corinna's lunged at the strange female had the effect that she intended. The stranger was knocked backwards and almost immediately did the smart thing by flattening her tail against the light fur of her belly. The lone wolf's tongue rolled out and her whines were heard in stark contrast to the growls and snarls of the Oak Tree Bend wolves. Soon enough the stranger's fear announced itself in bold fashion as she tipped her head back, the soft part of her neck exposed. The error of her mistake had seemed to catch up to the stranger, but the leader was not in a forgiving mood. Jaws parted, she jabbed her head forward, aiming for one of the loner's flailing limbs.

Her teeth clicked together on empty air, however, as she was bodily shoved to the side. It all happened in the blink of an eye. Another stranger, male, had come rushing forward, shouting at the other loner to get out. His shoulder had collided with hers, his momentum enough to push her stumbling away from Samhaine's body on the ground.

Instinct kicked in though, and when she jabbed again, this time her teeth met their target. The male who had shoved her had made to escape, fleeing as quickly as he had come, but his charge had put him in close proximity to her. She saw only his flanks and his tail as he made to leave, but her teeth found their mark on the side of his hind leg for a moment before releasing him. It was a shallow bite that barely drew any blood, but would hopefully get his attention or keep him around long enough for either Kisla or Triell to come to her aid.

She's just trying to get loose without retaliating. If she manages it, feel free to PP her trying to run off and getting some decent bites to the butt in the process.

A voice cut through the haze, eyes cracking open just in time to catch a flash of black. Run!

Suddenly there was movement all around. The silver woman who had been standing over her like an old friend turned her attentions to the interloper and for a moment a pang of sadness radiated through her chest. The large dark male who had first addressed her joined the fray and realisation quickly dawned - she had done something terrible, and if she didn’t get her feet underneath her she would pay. Dearly.

As she scrambled to get her feet beneath herself, struggling for purchase in the thick leaf litter, the third wolf turned her attentions on her. The sharp sting of teeth in the loose skin towards the back of her neck caused the brown girl to yelp out in surprise as her feet finally found their way to the dirt beneath. Pushing up, her rear swung around so that they were standing face to face, fear shining clearly in her eyes as her ears stayed pinned as close to her skull as possible, the stink of fear rolling off her pelt as she tugged backwards, trying to free herself without retaliating. If she managed to break free, she had every intention to run, and she wouldn’t dare to stop and try to look back.
