Reed grunted and released a small chuckle. Well, at least that didn't happen to the tree he slumbered beneath. With a thankful sigh, the man shook out his coat. The cool air attempted to reach his skin, but it was quite unsuccessful. His thickened fur kept him well insulated. The Acoy man parted his jaws and released a yawn before stretching out and bounding forth. It was a new day. The morning had always been his favorite time of the day, for some reason. He enjoyed watching everything wake up and come back to life.
Food was the main priority on his mind. Yes, he did want to return to Willow Ridge (if it still existed), but to do so, he would need a snack or meal first. This would be a challenge. What was there to eat? He'd have to carefully track down a rabbit, if possible. At least the snow was thinner in the forest. As he began to tread along, he wondered how the willows would hold the snow- probably horribly.
