Silvery cream paws found themselves near the boarder as something seemed to tug at her from outside of them. The feeling was strong and soon, despite her pounding heart, she gave in. Slowly she headed off while marking trees with her cheeks. Danica did this to refrain from getting herself lost...again. As she went the thickets seemed to get tighter and tighter, forcing her to squeeze through gaps.
After at least a twenty whole minutes a opening was found, spreading out in a circular shape. It seemed as if something wanted her to find it, for soon she was digging. The father she went the worse the air smelt...but she couldn't place it just yet. When a tuff of rusty red fur came into view she crocked her head. *What is that?* She stared blinking rapidly, dumbfounded. *Well, lets she!* Ignoring her better judgment she pushed the snow off just enough to see the face.
Underneath her was the deflated body of the wolf she had met only once. He had been preserved by the cold Winter weather. His once nice smelling fur was horrible as it reeked with death, old death. His eyes were pecked away, along with some other places on him. However, His face was the most disgusting part left of him and didn't resemble the wolf once know as Liam.
Bewildered she jumped off him yowling with fright. The scene was enough to have her running, tripping, and stumbling back to her family. She went as fast as possible, following her scent trail. *Momma, Momma, Momma!* She howled out just as her paws brought her back into the safety of her home. She trembled as her wide eyes searched for @Nina.
