Borlla Tainn-Argyris
ahhh~ thank you all for posting. the next round will begin on the 30th.
(Powerplaying Takis a bit, just so he's out here)

The woman waited patiently, guarding the mouth of the den as her children emerged. Occasionally, she would cast a glance over her shoulder, ensuring no tumbles or missteps, but for the most part, she kept her eyes ahead, towards the danger. Any moment now, near-strangers would seep through the treeline, because she summoned them here. Borlla sighed and settled to her haunches just in time for K'arnae to appear. The female crawled close enough to give her respects and Borlla could not help but smile. The female seemed nice, and though the new mother felt her muscles seize beneath her skin, she made no move beside to disturb the woman. The next arrival was little more than stranger to Borlla, and she felt her hackles rise. The boy did not come close as K'arnae had, and Borlla found herself thankful as he settled down beside the other woman. They both seemed quite curious. Ace soon joined them as Celandine made her way into the light. The mother nosed her little girl to comfort her, then kept a very close eye upon her.

Neoma broke the silence first, and while Borlla nodded a response, she said nothing else, but managed something of a smile. The woman, as far as her leader was aware, had done nothing wrong since they'd allowed her within the Glen, so Borlla had little reason to scowl at her now. The second yearling, and the other half to the pair that K'arnae must have spoken about some time ago, arrived, joining her partner. Evy was close behind her sister, though seemed less interested than her pale younger sister. In fact, she seemed far more interested in food, and Borlla chuckled as she shifted her sitting position to accommodate the eldest. When Zia arrived, Borlla grinned, not bothering to look at the rabbit dropped at her paws, but rather remained focused on her friend. She bowed her head, quite gratefully, and leaned forward carefully to move the rabbit to the side. After Deneb arrived, another stranger, but offering kind words nonetheless, Borlla cleared her throat slightly.

"I would like to introduce you all to Evy, Celandine, and..." She paused, noticing that Takis had not toddled out yet, though as this crossed her mind, he appeared. "Takis." Stifling a grin, she said no more. She felt a mild sadness that Phineas had not arrived yet, but likely he was busy doing what she had been unable to do for the past few weeks.

Celandine Argyris

Taking a few unsteady steps towards their pack mates, Celandine found herself no more than a tail length away from her mother. The comforting scent allowed her interest to pique, knowing full well that she was safe. This left her to attend to the more important matter of gazing upon these strangers. A vast sea of blacks, and grays danced before her, their coats not yet distinguishable to the young Argyris. Bright eyes landed on one in particular, the one who crawled closest to her mother. In time she would come to know this fae as @Zia, but for now, she was simply another nameless face.

Evy's whine forced her to turn back, seeking not shelter, but the attention of their mother. Sneaking back towards Borlla, Celandine halted at her forelegs, pressing her side into the white mass of fur. It was her mother too. A little disheartened at the end of her first adventure, a light mewl of exasperation coursed through the air. She still wanted to see them, but so long as Evy was begging for their mother's affections, she would have to wait.

Evy Argyris
So many voices, so many colors, so many things to focus on and yet Evy cared more about feeding then the actual duty of mingling with the crowd it all seemed like so much of a chore and their blurry features made her more dizzy than interested. She knew that with time she would find these many faces more interesting and perhaps build relationships with them that would last until her elder years but for now she worried more about the little critters that stood at her level of vision, in particular was Celandine. Her sister had followed her closely, taking he space of her mothers leg and begging for attention that had rightfully been Evy's but she would not complain, instead she would get even. When she felt her at her side she threw her rump toward her, wanting to knock the young femme onto her bottom and away from the general area of Borlla's tit--she was so into her own duty of outsmarting Celandine that she'd missed her mother introducing her. What a shame, but than again, she was not a big fan of the lime light anyway.

She could sense her brother as well, @Takis was the other large pup that would no doubt surpass her in height and weight but for the moment both cubs were the same size, and height, their only difference lied in gender and color. At the moment the distinction of colors was far too complex to Evy, she only knew one thing and that was the fact that her siblings were blindingly white and it burned her eyes, in fact her mother held the same color but she was different, she would always be different, she was mother and she supplied their milk. After a few moments of mewing, she disregarded Celandine and wandered toward Borlla's belly where she would remain in warmth and good food.

Aponi Donata
The silver princess could feel the wary gaze of her alpha upon her and dutifully dropped her own blue eyes towards her paws, not too concerned that she would be missing any 'special' moments with the cubs. After all they were just little fluff balls at this point in their lives, they couldn't and obviously weren't doing much besides crying for their mother, nothing Aponi could do about it. This whole motherhood thing looked like it was a lot of work, a huge sacrifice on the female alphas part to keep the pack bonded and instantly her respect for Borilla grew stronger. Her own mother had born litter after litter, physically caring for them yes, but emotionally crippling them with her deliberate distance, the ivory Queen seemed to genuinely care for the annoying crying fur balls that hovered around her ankles.

As the names were announced Aponi briefly raised her gaze once more to look at the pups, sure they were different colours but they all looked the same to the yearling, there was no way she would be able to keep them straight. Bowing her head once more she spoke, careful to keep her tone in check and not to speak loudly enough to startle the young ones, "You have brought a beautiful litter into the world, may they have nothing but peace and happiness." This was the first time she had spoken in front of her new queen and Aponi knew how important first impressions could be, she had seen her mother chase off wolves just for their appearance when first sighted after all. The words might have tasted strange on her tongue at one point in her life but she came to realize she had no reason to disrespect either alpha and was rather grateful of them for taking her and Mercy in, they truly were her king and queen.

Takis Argyris

The blurred images that had swarmed before his eyes became more focused each day -- the change was not so distinct instantly that it awed him -- nor could he hold such thoughts at such a tender age. Instead, his full belly was pressed against the dark den, his mouth opening as a low burp exited -- another noise he had grown accustom to making. Borlla urged her brood forward, but he remained behind, looking at her with the laziness that could only come with sleepiness from a content and well fed pup.

Yet when Evy and Celandine -- the sister she often curled in between for optimal warmth -- went with her, a grunt escaped him then before he picked his tiny muzzle up. Another grunt emitted from him -- a part whine, as he attempted to bark attention back on to him. It was ineffective, and had he the notion to scowl, he would back.

Instead, Takis stood on wobbly, two week old legs, teetering along the den before stumbling out in to the light. His eyes blinked in the sudden bright sun, only then noticing the outlines of others as his gaze focused. It was a larger crowd, and while he was not nervous, nor was he brave. Instead, the ivory babe moved forward, plopping himself near where Evy had wandered to the safety of Borlla's side before he plunked fully down on his belly once more, his tiny jaws aiming to gum at his darker sister's tail.

Phineas Argyris

Borlla's call had not been lost to him nor ignored -- simply, the male had been too far away to make it to her side in a decent time. The thought of her introducing the pups without his presence was unsettling to him -- not in the sense that he did not believe she could not protect them, but for the simple fact that there were those among him who had yet to gain his trust. It had been different when Kyros and Hypatia had been introduced to their pack.. Magnolia Glen had been a family then. Now.. now they were simply a unit, and the ivory regal was uncertain how to go about closing the distance between his pack members.

The moments passed befor ehe finally came upon the group. The rabbit dangled from his jaws, and his eyes, while taking in the impressive number of wolves who did show, also fell upon the same offering he held for the regal female. Amusement flickered in his eyes, and pressing forward to move up to the side of his mate, the alabaster wolf dropped his own meal to the mother of his children, pressing his nose to her cheek in greeting before his eyes briefly fell upon the three bundles of fur. Squirming and content enough, his eyes instead drifted back to his pack members, lifting his muzzle slightly higher. My apologies for my late entrance, he murmured to them, though his eyes flickered to Borlla, who the apology was truly meant for. I was caught mid-hunt.

:D Thank you all for participating~ Feel free to exit/fade as you would, so points may be claimed.

The female yearling finally spoke up, her words kind and strong, and Borlla could appreciate her courage. Celandine had since returned to her side. Borlla cracked something of an amused smile, wishing that the girls might be a bit more curious in their packmates, but she wouldn't force them. In the coming days and weeks, and so on, they would find their own feet and likely stick their noses where Borlla wished they wouldn't. So, for the time being, the mother thought that she might just be thankful for their cautiousness. Of course, the moment this crossed her mind, a little fight broke out around her paws. Her son arrived just in time to join the scuffle, as it were, teaming up with Celandine to tease their eldest sister.

Her eyes lifted from the children, causing a ruckus amongst themselves, to see Phineas approaching. She breathed a quiet sigh of relief. "You're here now. That's all that matters." The woman smiled, tail wagging at her back. "They are far more interested in chew on each other than on their packmates." Pursing her lips, the mother rose to her paws and stepped around her children, no longer willing to be the rink for their wrestling. Despite her earlier qualms about them not being as curious as she might've liked, Borlla thought that she might be somewhat thankful, especially with her fears about not being so familiar with her packmates. But everyone seemed on their best behavior, so what could she say? Borlla was simply glad that everyone was together...

Mercy
They were adorable. Three small balls of fluff, who could hardly move much at all, but were working on their way toward becoming more mobile. He couldn't believe how tiny they were, and with his attention fixated on them, he almost didn't notice Aponi when she joined the group. His nose twitched, and he caught her scent before he even turned his head to see her close by, and he gave her a warm, soft smile. Though it wasn't something he'd ever thought about much before, seeing these pups made him want to have some of his own. Bashfully, too, he found himself wondering what it would be like to have pups with Aponi; they would need to have heirs to the mountain, after all. Littlefolk like these that would one day become big and strong, to rule once he and Aponi had retired to a more quiet life.

Borlla introduced her young, gesturing to each so that they could tell them apart. All three stayed close to their mother's side, and he found himself wishing that they would grow up a bit faster, so that they would be more confident to leave her side and play. He wasn't entirely sure how one played with pups, but he knew he would have to be very, very gentle. They looked so delicate still, soft and plush. Aponi spoke, and he found himself nodding to her words. "Beautiful," He echoed in a soft voice, still unable to really speak out or look at the alpha female, out of respect. Once the pups had been introduced and their mother stood, Mercy too rose to his feet, though with his belly still low to the ground so he would not at all appear as a threat. He touched his nose to K'arnae's cheek before he did the same to Aponi's, lingering for a moment or two there. He gave a small gesture, to indicate that they should leave the new family in peace, and gave the alpha pair a respectful bow of his head before he pried himself away from the scene and returned to his den with thoughts of puppies preoccupying his mind.

He knew he ought to be getting to know these wolves around him, if only to get a better idea of the playing field here, to ingratiate himself to them and learn about them. And yet, Den found himself wishing to be gone from here rather than sticking around and socializing. Any joy he might have felt at seeing the next generation of this pack was impossible to dig up, buried away somewhere he couldn't find anymore. His thoughts, as per usual, were on his brother.

He nodded along silently as Borlla introduced each of her children by name. They were virtually indistinguishable right now, all smelling like one another, basically interchangeable to him except for the one with the pelt that didn't match. Shifting slightly, he closed his eyes, listening but not really listening as the rest of the pack offered their congratulations to the new mother and father. Some day when the pups were older, he would probably seek to get to know them, too, but for now they only reminded him of what he had had and lost.

As the moments ticked by, he counted them, and eventually when he thought enough had gone by he stood and nodded dutifully toward the alphas. Then he turned and was off, walking with his habitual rolling gait. He would return to the borders and hunt... perhaps he'd even find Al and get him to join him, though his brother probably wouldn't be too keen on the idea.

Evy Argyris
With Celandine hot on her heels, the young Arygris moved her legs quicker to so that she could beat her litter mate to the nearest tit, and despite the fact that Celandine probably cared little for food than her mothers affection, she would not be beaten for food. Her stomach rumbled loudly and she closed her eyes to forget the blinding light that would meet her once she exited the den and made it to her mother's side safely--with a small whine she latched onto a tit and drank quietly.

Somewhere in the den her brother finally stirred and moved like his sisters in the direction of the cooing sound of their mother, though she could not see him with her eyes closed she smelled him and shifted her weight in the direction she assumed he was coming to block him. He would not steal her spot, it was warm and comfy and she had fought hard for it--the milk thieves could not have it.

Her father, his voice deep and his stench strong, entered the den shortly after the strangers poked their head into the den to catch a glimpse and she opened her eyes to get a good look at him. He was bright like the others but he was imposing and tall, his strange colored eyes intrigued her though she closed her eyes once more to enjoy her milk and before long she began to doze off, finally content with the situation. Maybe in the morning she would be more tolerant of these strangers.
