Everyone, it’s time to meet the puppies! :D
Darkness was all he knew, and it was comforting. There were voices, some squealing and high-pitched, others softer and a quiet hum, but he did not know who they belonged to. Along with these voices, there was also an array of different scents, both of them mysterious and intriguing. He had yet to learn who the voices and smells belonged to, but food was far more important. He was constantly hungry, his stomach begging to be fed, but even when he felt full, the pang of hunger was still there.
The second born prince of the second litter wriggled around, gradually opening his eyes. They had slowly started to open in the past few days, and he could fully open them now, but as he was only fourteen days old all he could see was blurry, fuzzy shapes that shifted around. It was kind of creepy in a way, and the thought that the blobs were constantly watching his every move always came into his mind every time he saw them, and so he spent most of his time either squinting as to lessen the sight of the blobs, or keeping his eyes closed and head buried in his mothers’ belly. The soft hum of her voice was calming, and he had grown to know that she was there to protect him and the two furry bodies on either side of him, as well as feed them when they hungered for food. But even though he was hungry at that moment, he felt like exploring the dark area that they were in, instead of being bundled up between three, warm furry bodies like his own.
Opening his denim blue eyes once again to the blobs, Castiel hesitantly maneuvered his paws beneath him in a crouching position, before pushing with his hind legs so that his tail and butt was sticking up into the air, wobbling as he fought to gain his balance. Pushing his front legs against the ground, he somehow made it into a standing position without falling over like he had done so on his other attempts. The second born prince Let out a triumphant squeal at his accomplishment, wanting the three other blobs near him know that he could do something they couldn’t. At least, he thought they couldn’t.
