The Young Slayer Girl had taken it upon herself to wander the territory and become familiar with her surroundings, especially if she wanted to become a hunter when she reached adulthood. That was her one dream, and she often set out to hone her skills on small animals scurrying around the forest floor. During her wanderings and hunting’s Adsila had taken in her new home, and found that there were many flat rocks scattered throughout the territory, as well as a river located running through the central part of her new pack, near the den site. The current was not too fast, and so it was easy enough to cross it, but she did not like getting her fur wet, and so she either avoided it or went around. Her pack was also set in a dense forest which covered the semi-flat land of Cut Rock River, but it diminished the closer one got to the central part of the territory where it became more hilly. There was a large collection of smooth jagged rocks and clusters of boulders that made their homes in the hills and on the banks of the river. It was quite amazing to look at, if one could see the beauty in the land.
Adsila kept a bit of distance from the rest of the pack, and maybe that was also a reason for her constant wanderings. She felt like an outsider among them, as they all seemed to know and care greatly for each other. Then there was her. She could not stand being in the presence of the wolves that had been close to her before Pitch Pine Trail had disbanded for too long, and so she kept away from the den site as much as possible during the day. During the night however, she did sleep in one of the dens on the outskirts. Now she was wandering the lands at night time, roused by nothing in particular, but as soon as she exited the den, the brilliant colours of the northern lights had caught her attention, and so she stood staring up at the inky black sky, dark head tilted back, and her silvery green eyes gazing upwards.
She was a sucker for beautiful and wondrous things.
